What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Lanyon Grey's CEO and Head of Customer Success described slow, manual reporting across Salesforce, Zendesk and Microsoft 365. Priya Raman recommended Starter at £6,000 implementation and £20k a year. A demo was agreed for the following week.
What happened: Priya Raman ran discovery with Saira Khalid and Edward Grey on 20 May 2024. The customer described answering a strategic question by pulling data by hand from three systems.
Customer view: Saira said a straightforward question can take a couple of days and goes to operations. Edward said decisions are made without complete information because waiting two days is not practical.
Commercial: Priya recommended the Starter tier, one team, fifteen users and four connectors, with a four-week implementation. She quoted £6,000 implementation and £20k annually, and tied a mid-August go-live to signing by mid-July.
Watch: Saira estimated ten to fifteen regular users, which sits at the Starter soft limit. Edward's only question on terms was about data staying in their own Snowflake account. He gave no commitment on price.

Transcript
- Priya RamanGood afternoon, Saira, Edward. Thanks so much for making time. How's the week been?
- Saira KhalidHi Priya, all good thanks. Looking forward to this.
- Priya RamanBrilliant. So just to recap - you and I caught up last week about the data challenges you're facing. Today I want to understand how your teams are working with customer data right now, what's working and what's painful.
- Edward GreyYeah, that's exactly it. We've got all this customer insight scattered across Salesforce, Zendesk, email. When we need to answer a strategic question, it takes forever because we're pulling data manually from multiple systems.
- Priya RamanTell me - when you get a question like that, how does it actually get answered? Who does the work?
- Saira KhalidIt goes to operations. They'll pull from Salesforce, check it against Zendesk, cross-reference with email. It's very manual, lots of spreadsheets going back and forth. A straightforward question can take a couple of days.
- Priya RamanHow often does that happen?
- Edward GreyMore than we'd like. We're making decisions without complete information because waiting two days isn't practical. Then quarterly reviews come round and we're scrambling.
- Priya RamanRight, so let's look at your systems. You've got Salesforce, Zendesk. What else?
- Saira KhalidMicrosoft 365 for email. Those three are the main ones that matter for customer insights.
- Priya RamanAnd how many people would benefit from being able to query that data directly?
- Saira KhalidQuite a few. Product team, support, operations, some execs. I'd say ten to fifteen people regularly.
- Priya RamanOkay. So at BG-Demo we build what we call B-Glass. It's a queryable layer over all your systems. Connectors pull from Salesforce, Zendesk, Microsoft 365, and the data lives in your own Snowflake account. Your team asks questions and gets answers in seconds instead of days. You can also build dashboards.
- Edward GreySo the data stays with us.
- Priya RamanCompletely. You own it, you control it. We just build the connectors and maintain the platform. For Lanyon Grey, I'd recommend the Starter plan. That's one team, up to fifteen users, four connectors, search and dashboards. Implementation is four weeks.
- Saira KhalidWhat do you need from us during that?
- Priya RamanWe handle most of it. You'll need someone from your team to answer questions about your Salesforce setup, Zendesk workflows. Maybe a couple of hours of calls total. We do everything else, including training your team.
- Edward GreyAnd the cost?
- Priya RamanImplementation is six thousand pounds. The Starter subscription is nineteen thousand five hundred annually. If we get this signed by mid-July, you're live by mid-August.
- Saira KhalidWhat's the support after launch?
- Priya RamanSix-monthly check-ins. Data refreshes nightly. If issues come up, we respond within four business hours on Starter.
- Edward GreyOkay. What's next?
- Priya RamanI'd like to get Hannah in - she's one of our solutions engineers. She'll demo the brain on your actual data, show how queries work, walk through dashboards. Should be about an hour. Would next week suit you both?
- Saira KhalidYeah, next week works. Jack from support would probably want to see it too.
- Priya RamanPerfect. I'll coordinate with Hannah and send calendar invites. I'll also put a summary of everything we've discussed over to you both - the pains, the systems, what we'd deliver. Anything else?
- Edward GreyI think we're good.
- Priya RamanBrilliant. Thanks both, really enjoyed this. I'll get that over tomorrow. Speak soon, cheers.
