What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Sophie Ling presented Starter to Ellie Rowcliffe and Simon Harte: £6,000 implementation and a £22k annual subscription. Both were comfortable and asked for the order form. First response time was quoted loosely.
What happened: On the 28 May 2026 proposal call, Sophie walked through Starter with 15 users and four connectors. Simon checked that the queries shown in the demo (unbilled time, client history, project expertise) were covered, and she confirmed they were.
Customer view: Simon called the terms fair and Ellie said they were happy with them. Their questions were practical: contract length, support, upgrade path and other costs.
Commercial: Sophie quoted a £6,000 implementation and a £22k subscription, with a one-year term and a move to Growth if they outgrow Starter. She aimed for signature in early July.
Watch: Sophie described first response as within a business day, which is looser than the four hours quoted on the later call. The evidence does not show a signed order form.

Transcript
- Sophie LingHi both, thanks for making time. So I want to walk through the proposal and make sure it fits what you need.
- Ellie RowcliffeGreat, we're listening.
- Sophie LingOK so based on the demo and our conversations, you're looking at Starter tier. That gives you up to fifteen users, four connectors: so CRM, project system, email, and accounting if you add that later. You get the search and chat interfaces, and we support one admin on your side to manage access.
- Simon HarteAnd that covers the queries you showed: like, unbilled time, client history, project expertise?
- Sophie LingAll of those, yeah. Starter is designed for teams like yours, up to fifteen users, a handful of systems. Everything you asked for is in there.
- Sophie LingSo here's the commercial structure. There's an implementation fee: that covers the connector design, building, testing, Snowflake setup, and a week of support after you go live. For Starter, that's six thousand. Then there's an annual subscription: twenty-two thousand a year, paid upfront or quarterly if you prefer.
- Ellie RowcliffeOK so if we do annual, it's twenty-eight all-in for the first year.
- Sophie LingThat's right. Twenty-eight to get live and running for the first year. Then renewal is just the subscription, twenty-two a year after that.
- Simon HarteAnd the timeline?
- Sophie LingFour weeks from kickoff to live. So if we sign in early July, you'd be live by end of July.
- Ellie RowcliffeThat's quick.
- Sophie LingIt is. We've got it down to a good process. Week one is connector design and Snowflake setup. Weeks two and three we build and test. Week four we go live, do some training, and you're running.
- Simon HarteAnd if we want to upgrade later: say, we grow and need more users, can we?
- Sophie LingAbsolutely. We review usage at your annual check-in. If you've outgrown Starter, more than fifteen users, more connectors, we'd move you to Growth. It's just a change in your subscription from that point on.
- Simon HarteOK, and what's the contract length?
- Sophie LingOne year. You renew annually. No lock-in beyond that.
- Ellie RowcliffeAnd if we have issues during the year, support, how does that work?
- Sophie LingYou'll have a CSM, a customer success manager, who checks in with you quarterly. If something breaks: a connector syncs wrong, a query isn't working, you reach out and we fix it. First response is within a business day, usually much faster.
- Simon HarteThat sounds fair. Are there any other costs I should know about?
- Sophie LingNot if you stay on Starter. If you wanted to add stuff later: like, more than four connectors, or more than fifteen users, there's an add-on cost. But as you are, it's just the subscription.
- Ellie RowcliffeOK I think we're OK with this. What's next?
- Sophie LingI'll send you a formal proposal document and an order form. You review it, let me know if you have any questions, and if you're happy, we sign and kick off.
- Simon HarteWhen would you need that back?
- Sophie LingI'd ideally get it back by early July so we can kick off straight away. Gives us a few weeks to get you live.
- Ellie RowcliffeThat works for us.
- Sophie LingBrilliant. I'll get it over today. Any other questions before I go?
- Simon HarteNo, I think we're good. Thanks, Sophie.
- Sophie LingGreat. I'll be in touch.
