What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Laura Penhaligon agreed connector go-live with Rebecca Oakes and Megan Statham for Salesforce, Zendesk and Microsoft 365. Rebecca wants to stop checking three systems by hand. The Microsoft 365 key is still pending security checks.
What happened: Megan has the Salesforce and Zendesk keys and is checking security protocols for Microsoft 365. Laura committed to all three connectors live by next Friday, then a training session.
Customer view: Rebecca said people spend ages manually checking three systems to answer a simple question. She needs it to be faster.
Commercial: Laura confirmed 40 users on the Growth tier and suggested a core group of 10 or 15 to start. Admins are limited to a couple, likely Megan and one other.
Watch: go-live depends on one credential. Megan is the main technical contact and prospective admin.

- Admin rights rest with Megan and possibly one other person, which concentrates set-up knowledge.
Opportunities
Current to 9 Oct 26- A core group of 10 or 15 users against 40 licences leaves room to widen adoption and dashboard building.
Transcript
- Laura Penhaligon NoneHi everyone, thanks for joining. How's the week going?
- Rebecca Oakes NoneGood, thanks. Megan's been getting things set up on the technical side.
- Megan Statham NoneYeah, I've been looking at the connectors you mentioned. We're planning on Salesforce, Zendesk, and Microsoft 365: so the CRM, the helpdesk, and emails.
- Laura Penhaligon NonePerfect. That's the core setup for a practice operations team. Salesforce gives us all your customer and case data, Zendesk is every ticket that's come in, and Microsoft 365 is your email thread, so we can see the full history for any practice or case in one place instead of jumping around.
- Rebecca Oakes NoneThat's the idea. At the moment people are spending ages manually checking three systems to answer a simple question. We need it to be faster.
- Laura Penhaligon NoneYeah, that's the whole point. So Megan, where are we on the API credentials?
- Megan Statham NoneI've got the Salesforce and Zendesk keys sorted. Just checking our security protocols on the email one, but that should be fine by end of week.
- Laura Penhaligon NoneGood. Once you send those over, I can get the connectors live, probably by end of next week. Then the data starts flowing in, and the first full refresh will be overnight, ready by 07:00 the next morning. On Growth you get that nightly refresh as standard.
- Rebecca Oakes NoneAnd how many people can we bring in?
- Laura Penhaligon NoneYou're licensed for 40 users. So everyone in your team can have a login. We'd usually suggest starting with a core group, maybe 10 or 15, and then rolling out gradually as people get comfortable.
- Megan Statham NoneThat makes sense. And admin access: who manages adding connectors, managing users, that sort of thing?
- Laura Penhaligon NoneYou can have a couple of admins in your team. Regular users can search, ask questions, build dashboards, but only admins can set up new connectors and manage who has access. So you'd probably want yourself and maybe one other person from operations.
- Megan Statham NoneOkay, yeah. I can do that.
- Laura Penhaligon NoneGreat. One thing to flag, is there any data governance or compliance sign-off you need before we index the data?
- Rebecca Oakes NoneI don't think so. It's all operational data that people already see in those systems, we're just joining it together. No new data being collected.
- Laura Penhaligon NonePerfect. So to recap: Megan sends over the Microsoft 365 key by end of week, I'll get all three connectors live by next Friday, data refreshes overnight, and then we do a training session the week after. You'll be able to start searching and asking questions. Sound good?
- Rebecca Oakes NoneYeah, that works for us.
- Megan Statham NoneI'll get that key to you by Wednesday.
- Laura Penhaligon NoneBrilliant. I'll send you both a summary and we'll touch base next week. Cheers.
