What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026On the 5 Feb 2026 call, CFO Gustav Åberg asked for a budget of twenty-four thousand pounds all-in. He accepted a first-year-only price of twenty-five thousand five hundred pounds and agreed to move to signature.
What happened: Owen Tallis and Lewis Kerr took a Starter deal to final terms with Gustav. He said the budget was nearer twenty-four thousand pounds all-in and that the company is stretched.
Commercial: Owen offered twenty-five thousand five hundred pounds for year one only, calling it the best available for a new customer, with year two at the standard rate. Gustav confirmed that figure, a four-week implementation starting early March, and renewal discussions in October next year.
Watch: Asked for the year-two rate, Lewis said it depends on the market and would be kept in line with inflation. No figure was given, and the call shows no commitment on the renewal price, so the renewal conversation starts with a price gap that is not defined.
Status: Gustav said he would align Sara and move to signature. Lewis was to send the order form that day, and the call does not show whether it was signed.

Follow-up
Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Lewis Kerr to send the order form and get it executed with Gustav Åberg and Sara.
- Schedule the technical scoping call with Hannah once the order form is signed.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- The year-two price was left open as market-dependent, so the first Starter renewal may meet price resistance from a customer that says it is stretched.
- Budget pressure was the main concern, and the discount applies to the first term only.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- A smooth four-week Starter implementation builds the value case ahead of the October renewal discussion.
Transcript
- Owen TallisMorning Gustav, it's Owen Tallis here from BG-Demo. Lewis and I wanted to hop on this morning to talk through any final questions you've got before we move to contract.
- Gustav ÅbergMorning. Yes, we're close to a decision, but I did want to understand your flexibility on the pricing.
- Owen TallisFair enough. What's your concern?
- Gustav ÅbergThe budget we had was more like twenty-four thousand, all-in. We're a bit stretched at the moment.
- Lewis KerrGot it. So you're looking for a few hundred quid off?
- Gustav ÅbergSomething like that, yeah.
- Owen TallisI understand. Can you help me understand where the pressure is? Is it the implementation cost, or the licence?
- Gustav ÅbergIt's really the total. We're investing in a few things at once. If we could get to twenty-four thousand, that makes our case internally much easier.
- Owen TallisRight. So here's where I can help. On the first year only, I can bring the deal down to twenty-five thousand five hundred. That's the best I can do on a new customer, and it only applies to year one. Year two would be at the standard rate.
- Gustav ÅbergHow much is the standard rate in year two?
- Lewis KerrThat's Starter renewal, which will depend on what the market is at that point. But we typically try to keep renewals in line with inflation. We won't surprise you with anything crazy.
- Gustav ÅbergAnd the four-week timeline, that's firm?
- Lewis KerrIt is, barring anything unusual in your data setup. Hannah would have a technical call with you to confirm, but for a standard Starter setup, four weeks is what we're committing to.
- Gustav ÅbergAll right. I think I can make that work. So to confirm: twenty-five thousand five hundred all-in for year one, four-week implementation starting early March, and then annual renewal discussions in October next year.
- Owen TallisThat's right. And we'd get you a formal order form to sign. Once that's signed, we'll schedule the tech scoping call with Hannah and you're off to the races.
- Gustav ÅbergSounds good. I'll get Sara aligned and we'll move to signature.
- Lewis KerrBrilliant. I'll get that order form over to you today.
- Owen TallisThanks, Gustav. Cheers.
- Lewis KerrCheers.
