What was said
What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Finance had signed off and Megan Entwistle said they were ready to sign. She asked to split the £26k across two invoices, and Owen Tallis agreed in principle.
What happened: Owen Tallis joined Lewis Kerr for the negotiation. Megan said finance had signed off and asked to invoice the £6,000 implementation on signing, then split the £20k subscription across the first year.
Customer view: Kirsty Carswell wanted certainty that four weeks meant live, not just build finished. She said internal projects start in early June and they want to be querying by then.
Commercial: Owen said yes to the split, and Lewis said he would check with finance. Lewis is to update the order form with the payment split and send it the same day.
Watch: Go-live depends on credentials arriving the week after signature. The order form is not yet shown as executed on this call.

Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Lewis Kerr to update the order form with the payment split and send it the same day.
- Megan Entwistle to sign and return it within a few days, then Lewis to schedule the intake call.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Go-live by early June depends on the customer supplying credentials the week after signing.
- The split subscription invoicing still needed a check with finance.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- A smooth start on Starter builds the case for a later move to Growth.
Transcript
- Lewis KerrHi folks, thanks for jumping back on. I think Megan and Kirsty have been through the proposal and had a couple of things they wanted to discuss.
- Owen TallisGreat. Where are we with the order form, then?
- Megan EntwistleHi Owen. We're pretty much there, actually. Finance have signed off. We had one question about the payment terms, whether we could split the £25,500 across two invoices instead of one upfront?
- Owen TallisWhat split were you thinking?
- Megan EntwistleIdeally the £6,000 implementation upfront when we sign, and then the £19,500 subscription split across the first year.
- Lewis KerrThat's actually quite common. Let me check that one with finance, but I think we can make that work. We usually invoice the subscription annually in advance, but splitting it shouldn't be a problem.
- Owen TallisYeah, let's do that. Anything else?
- Kirsty CarswellThe other thing was timeline. You said four weeks from signature: does that definitely mean we're live by then, or is that just when the build finishes?
- Lewis KerrThat's when you're live and able to ask questions. We'll have done testing, you'll have had a chance to kick the tyres, and everything should be working.
- Kirsty CarswellOkay. We have some internal projects starting in early June and we'd like to be querying by then.
- Lewis KerrWe can work to that. As long as you're ready with credentials by, shall we say the week after you sign, we can definitely have you live by early June.
- Megan EntwistleThat's perfect. I think we're ready to sign.
- Owen TallisBrilliant. Lewis, can you update the form with the payment split and send it over?
- Lewis KerrWill do. I'll turn that around today.
- Owen TallisPerfect. Once you've signed it, Megan, can you get it back to us pretty quickly?
- Megan EntwistleYeah, I'll get it signed and back to you within a few days.
- Lewis KerrOnce we have the executed copy, I'll reach out to schedule the intake call. That's where you'll provide the API credentials for the four systems.
- Kirsty CarswellWe'll make sure IT is ready for that.
- Lewis KerrPerfect. I'll send over the integration guide at the same time so they know what to expect.
- Owen TallisGreat. I think we're done then. Thanks Megan, Kirsty. Welcome to BG-Demo.
- Megan EntwistleThanks, Owen. Looking forward to it.
- Kirsty CarswellCheers.
