What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Lewis Kerr presented a Starter proposal at £20k a year plus a £6,000 implementation. Megan Entwistle said it was the right direction, subject to a check with finance.
What happened: Lewis recapped the customer's pain, with three or four people spending four or five hours a week building reports by hand. He proposed Starter at £20k a year plus a £6,000 one-off implementation, £26k in total.
Customer view: Megan said the recap was exactly right and a real pain point. She wanted to run the proposal past finance but thought it was the right direction.
Commercial: Kirsty Carswell and Megan asked about go-live, support, check-ins, data location and limits. The call states the Starter soft user limit as around forty users, but the brief gives 15; the order form should settle it.
Watch: Go-live was pitched at four weeks from signature, aiming for early June. The order form was promised the same day and is still open until executed.

Transcript
- Lewis KerrHello, can you hear me okay?
- Kirsty CarswellYes, loud and clear.
- Megan EntwistleSame here.
- Lewis KerrBrilliant. Thanks for making time this afternoon. How's the week been?
- Kirsty CarswellGood, yeah. Busy as ever, really. Recruitment doesn't stop.
- Lewis KerrFair point. Right, so I've put together a formal proposal based on everything we discussed, and I think you're going to be happy with where we've landed. Just to recap: you've got candidate data in your CRM, calls you're recording but struggling to search, email threads that matter but get lost, and you reckoned three or four people in your team spend four or five hours a week manually pulling all this together into reports. Sound right?
- Megan EntwistleYeah, that's exactly it. It's a real pain point for us.
- Lewis KerrRight, so that tells me you're a single team, which is why Starter is the right tier for you. It's built for exactly this: one team, up to four data connectors, search and chat functionality. You'll be able to ask questions across your systems in plain English without anyone manually stitching data together. The subscription is £19,500 per year. Then there's a one-off implementation fee of £6,000 to get you set up and live. So all-in, you're looking at £25,500 to get started.
- Kirsty CarswellAnd the six grand is just for the first year?
- Lewis KerrThat's right, it's a one-off. Every year after that it's just the £19,500 annual subscription. It's a twelve-month renewal, and you'll get a 90-day notice before it comes up, so you've got time to think about whether you want to stay, upgrade to Growth, or add more users.
- Megan EntwistleWhen would we go live if we signed today?
- Lewis KerrFour weeks from the day you sign the order form. It's quite straightforward. You have an intake call with me: maybe an hour: where you give us API credentials for your three or four systems: CRM, calls, email, maybe your billing system. We provide you with an integration guide to share with your IT team, because they'll be involved in providing those credentials. After that, we build the connectors on our side, test everything, and by week four you should be live and able to ask questions.
- Kirsty CarswellDo we need to do much on our end during those four weeks?
- Lewis KerrNot a lot, really. Provide the credentials, maybe answer a couple of questions about which fields matter most so we configure it correctly. That's about it. We manage the technical build.
- Megan EntwistleAnd on the support side?
- Lewis KerrStandard support on Starter is included. You raise a ticket, we aim to get back to you within four business hours. If you need faster response, same-day, we offer Premium support as an add-on, but for your use case I wouldn't think you'd need it.
- Kirsty CarswellYou mentioned check-ins as well?
- Lewis KerrYes. Every six months we have a call to see how you're using the system, whether the data's staying fresh, whether you're getting the value you expected. It's part of the Starter offering.
- Megan EntwistleWhere does our data actually live? Are you storing it somewhere on your infrastructure?
- Lewis KerrNo, it all runs inside your own Snowflake account. So the data never leaves your infrastructure. Everything is governed by your security policies, your access controls, your backups, you retain full ownership and control. From a compliance perspective, that's a big win.
- Kirsty CarswellThat's good. And in terms of users, how many people can actually use this?
- Lewis KerrStarter has a soft limit of around forty users. That's not a hard cap, if you've got a few more, it won't break, but it's the level where we'd recommend thinking about upgrading to Growth. For your team of three or four, you've got plenty of headroom.
- Megan EntwistleOkay. And the four connectors, that's a fixed limit?
- Lewis KerrYes, it's a hard limit on Starter. So you'd pick the four that matter most: typically CRM, calls, email, and maybe something else. If you want more connectors down the line, you'd need to upgrade to Growth, which gives you eight.
- Kirsty CarswellRight. I think that covers my questions. Megan?
- Megan EntwistleI'd like to run this past our finance team just to make sure, but I think this is the right direction for us.
- Lewis KerrPerfect. I'll get the order form over to you today. It'll have all of this in writing: the pricing, the scope of the four connectors, the implementation timeline, the renewal terms, everything. You review it, loop in whoever needs to sign it, I'd imagine that's you, Megan, and then send it back. Once I've signed it and you have an executed copy, I'll schedule that intake call for the week after and we'll get things moving.
- Megan EntwistleHow long do we have to review it before you need it back?
- Lewis KerrNo huge rush, but ideally within a couple of weeks. That way we can aim for early June for go-live, and you'll be up and running before the summer really kicks in.
- Kirsty CarswellThat works for us.
- Lewis KerrGreat. I'll be your account owner on our side, so any questions as you're reviewing or once you sign, just drop me a line. Thanks very much, both of you. Speak soon.
- Megan EntwistleThanks, Lewis.
- Kirsty CarswellCheers.
