What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Stannard Vale Recruitment saw a demo of the brain on its Salesforce data on 1 Apr 2025. Kirsty Carswell said the May or June kickoff timeline works; Lewis Kerr will send a proposal with pricing and terms.
What happened: Lewis Kerr and Hannah Lowe demonstrated search and dashboards built on the customer's Salesforce structure. Kirsty Carswell and Jon Naylor asked about speed, freshness, security, user numbers and the contract.
Customer view: Kirsty was keen to see how it handles candidate and client data, and confirmed the timeline works for them. Jon pressed on security because candidate data and client fees are sensitive.
Commercial: Starter was discussed with fifteen users and an add-on route if more are needed. Implementation was described as four weeks, with an annual MSA and order form under a thirty-day exit clause.
Watch: no price was quoted on the call. The proposal is an open item and no decision was made.

Transcript
- Lewis KerrHi Kirsty, hi Jon, thanks for making the time. Hannah's our solutions engineer. We've built a demo on your data so you can see what the brain actually looks like in practice.
- Kirsty CarswellBrilliant. I'm keen to see how it handles our candidate and client data.
- Hannah LoweTo be precise, this is hooked into your Salesforce instance: so candidate records, placements, client feedback, and it's anonymized for the demo but structurally it's your real setup.
- Lewis KerrRight. So you log in here and you can search. Jon, imagine you're trying to find feedback from a particular client. You'd just ask...'show me recent feedback from our finance clients.'
- Hannah LoweAnd it pulls results from Salesforce, returns them in seconds, and you can drill into any record to see the detail: placement history, rate, everything.
- Jon NaylorSo it's basically searching across all your client and candidate records at once?
- Lewis KerrExactly. Instead of logging into Salesforce and running reports, you just ask a question. 'Which candidates took long to place?' 'Which client are we underutilizing?', that kind of thing.
- Kirsty CarswellHow fast is it?
- Hannah LoweInstant. You type, you get results. Maybe a second or two. No waiting.
- Jon NaylorWhat if you ask it something it doesn't have data for?
- Hannah LoweIt tells you. But the longer answer is most recruiting teams are surprised by how much data they actually have once it's all connected.
- Lewis KerrAnd see these dashboards? Kirsty, you could have one showing your placement trends, another showing client retention, updated live every night.
- Kirsty CarswellCan anyone build these or just technical people?
- Hannah LoweAnyone. It's drag and drop. No coding. So if you wanted a dashboard showing placements by sector, candidates by experience level, you'd build it yourself.
- Jon NaylorWhat if we want to export data?
- Lewis KerrYou can export from any search. CSV, that kind of thing. But most people just use the brain directly, it's quicker than building reports.
- Kirsty CarswellHow does the data stay fresh?
- Hannah LoweEvery night we sync with your Salesforce. So every morning you've got yesterday's data. You're never looking at anything more than a day old.
- Jon NaylorWhat's the security story? We've got candidate data, client fees, that's sensitive.
- Hannah LoweThe short answer is everything runs inside your own cloud account. The longer answer is your data never leaves your environment. We run the application but your data stays with you. Plus role-based access controls, you decide who sees what.
- Lewis KerrAnd audit logs for compliance. Every query is logged.
- Kirsty CarswellWhat if we need to take someone off the system or remove a user?
- Hannah LoweYou control the access list. Remove someone and they can't log in. Their historical activity is still logged but they can't see new data.
- Jon NaylorSo how would we actually use this day-to-day?
- Lewis KerrWhoever needs to find candidate or client info: that's you, Kirsty, your team, maybe someone on finance: they log in, run a search or look at a dashboard, get their answer. That's it.
- Kirsty CarswellAnd you said Starter comes with how many users?
- Lewis KerrFifteen. So you could have most of your team on it.
- Jon NaylorWhat if we need more?
- Hannah LoweWe can add users. It's a straightforward add-on mid-term if you need to.
- Kirsty CarswellWhat's the implementation like?
- Lewis KerrFour weeks from signature to go-live. Week one is your IT giving us Salesforce access. Weeks two to three we build the connectors and test. Week four you're testing and we're training your team.
- Hannah LoweTraining is pretty hands-on. Half a day walk-through. Show you how to search, how to build dashboards, how to export. Most people get it in an afternoon.
- Jon NaylorAnd after launch? What's support like?
- Lewis KerrEmail and chat support, four-hour response on critical issues. We check in every six months to see how you're getting on.
- Kirsty CarswellWhat's the contract?
- Lewis KerrAnnual MSA and an order form. Thirty-day exit clause. Very standard.
- Jon NaylorWhen would we go live?
- Lewis KerrIf you want to move forward, we'd be looking at May or June kickoff for a July or August go-live, depending on how fast your IT team can turn around access.
- Kirsty CarswellThat timeline works for us. What's next?
- Lewis KerrI'll send you a proposal with pricing and terms. You review, think it over, and let me know if you want to chat again.
- Hannah LoweI'll also put together some technical details in writing: the architecture, how the connectors work, what data we pull.
- Kirsty CarswellBrilliant. Thanks, both.
- Lewis KerrThanks, Kirsty. Speak soon.
