What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Hamza Akhtar ran an 80-minute training for Linnea Holm and Johan Berglund on Lindqvarn Retail's own data. Usage is rising, SCIM is not yet switched on, and a future web shop platform change could break the e-commerce connector.
What happened: Hamza took Johan and Linnea through questions, saved searches, pages, dashboards and admin on 29 Aug 2025. They built a Store region overview page with three questions from Johan.
Customer view: Johan recognised the returns insight as something the team had suspected but never seen joined to service data. Linnea closed with praise and said the citations help the service team trust answers.
Commercial: Enterprise has 150 licensed users and the user list shows rising logins, mostly from customer service. SSO works but SCIM, an Enterprise feature, is not turned on, so adoption of what is already contracted is incomplete.
Watch: Johan asked whether a web shop platform change next year would break the e-commerce connector. Hamza said it might need reconfiguring, which is a connector risk to plan for early.

Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Hamza Akhtar sends a recap with the saved searches and the page link.
- Linnea Holm asks IT to schedule SCIM, and Hamza offers to sit in on the first run.
- Johan Berglund tries the page with a couple of colleagues and sends back what confuses them.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- A web shop platform change could leave the e-commerce connector flat if BG-Demo is not told early.
- SCIM is not switched on, so user provisioning is still manual.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- More customer service and store users can be brought in within the 150 licensed users on Enterprise.
- The Store region overview page could spread use to store managers.
Transcript
- Hamza AkhtarHello, can you both hear me all right? I can see Linnea. Johan, I think you're still on mute.
- Johan BerglundSorry, yes, there we go. Good afternoon. I had the wrong headset selected, so I've been talking to myself for about a minute.
- Linnea HolmGood afternoon, Hamza. We have been looking forward to this one. It has been a busy week with the autumn catalogue going out, so forgive us if we drift off at the edges.
- Hamza AkhtarNo problem at all. It's Friday, nobody expects miracles. So the plan for today is roughly this. I'll start with how to ask the brain good questions, because that's where most people get the most value. Then saved searches and pages, then the dashboards builder, and at the end Linnea, I'd like to go through the admin side with you, users and connectors. Does that work?
- Linnea HolmThat works for me.
- Johan BerglundCan I add one thing? I would really like to see an example with web orders and returns, because that is what my team lives in. Not a generic demo, our own data if possible.
- Hamza AkhtarAbsolutely, that's what we'll use. Everything I show is running on your own connected sources, so if I get something wrong it's your data being awkward, not a slide. Let me share my screen. Can you see the home page?
- Johan BerglundYes, I see the search bar and the recent pages.
- Hamza AkhtarGood. First thing. Don't type keywords like you would into a search engine. Type the question the way you'd ask a colleague. So, let me try one for you, Johan. Which product categories had the most returns from web orders last month, and what reasons did customers give?
- Johan BerglundHa, that is exactly what I would ask. Go on.
- Hamza AkhtarIt's thinking. It pulls from the e-commerce side and then from the helpdesk tickets and the free text in the customer service channel. There. Sofas and rugs at the top, and you can see the reasons underneath, mostly colour not matching the photos and delivery damage.
- Johan BerglundRight. The colour thing, we have suspected that for a while. But I have never seen it joined to what customers actually write to service. Can you click on the source?
- Hamza AkhtarYes, every answer has its citations. Click here and you get the records it used. That matters, because you should never have to take the brain's word for it. If a number looks odd, you open the source and check.
- Linnea HolmThat is one thing I like. When I first told the service team about this, they were worried it would just invent things. The citations help with that.
- Hamza AkhtarGood. And it will say when it doesn't know. If the data isn't there, you get that, rather than a confident guess. Now, let me show you how to narrow it down. Johan, try one yourself. I'll stop sharing and you share, if you're happy to.
- Johan BerglundOkay. Sharing now. Hmm, give me a moment, there are too many windows open. Right. What do I type?
- Hamza AkhtarTry the same question but for one country. Say Norway only, and add the last quarter so you can see a trend.
- Johan BerglundNorway, last quarter, returns by category and reason. Okay, it is running. Oh, interesting. Here it is lamps, not sofas.
- Hamza AkhtarWhich is the sort of thing you'd miss if you only looked at the total. Now, see the pin icon? Save that as a search. Give it a name your team will recognise, and decide who can see it.
- Johan BerglundReturns by country. Shared with the e-commerce team. Done. Can it run on a schedule, so it lands on Monday morning?
- Hamza AkhtarIt refreshes with the nightly load, so when you open it on Monday it's current. You can also put it on a page, and that's the next thing. A page is a mix of text, saved searches and charts. Think of it as the thing you'd otherwise build in a slide deck every month.
- Linnea HolmWould a page be useful for the store managers? Our head of customer insight keeps asking what the stores can actually use, and she wants it to be something they open without being trained.
- Hamza AkhtarYes, I think so. The trick is to keep it short. One page per store region, three or four questions, plain headings. If a store manager has to scroll for a minute they won't come back. We can build a first version together at the end if there's time, and your colleague can react to it.
- Linnea HolmShe will want to anchor it with a couple of store managers first, I think. That is how she likes to work.
- Hamza AkhtarSensible. Right, dashboards. Johan, I'll take the screen back. The builder is on the left menu. You pick a saved search, choose a chart type, and place it on the canvas. Let me build one live, returns by category, as a bar chart.
- Johan BerglundCan you filter by date range on the dashboard itself, or does that have to be in the search?
- Hamza AkhtarBoth. Put a date control on the dashboard and every chart follows it. Here. Change it to the last month and watch the bars move. If you want something fixed, say always the last full quarter, set it in the search instead.
- Johan BerglundNice. And if somebody builds a dashboard and then leaves the company? We had that with another tool, the whole thing disappeared.
- Hamza AkhtarGood question, and that's Linnea's side as an admin. Dashboards have an owner, and an admin can reassign ownership. So nothing vanishes. Let me hand over to that. Linnea, can you share, or shall I keep going?
- Linnea HolmYou keep going, I will follow along on my own admin screen. Okay, I can see the users list.
- Hamza AkhtarSo you're licensed for one hundred and 150 users on Enterprise, and you've got plenty of room. More people are logging in each week than a few months ago, which is a good sign. Here you can see who is active, who has never logged in, and who asks the most questions.
- Linnea HolmI noticed the same. A lot of the new ones are from customer service, since they were invited last month. I would like to see the ones who have never logged in, so I can nudge them.
- Hamza AkhtarFilter by last active, and choose never. That's your nudge list. You can export it. Next, provisioning. You have single sign on set up, and with SCIM you can have people created and removed automatically from your identity system, so you don't manage them by hand.
- Linnea HolmWe have SSO working. SCIM we have not turned on, I think because our IT team wanted to wait until after the rollout. I will ask them to schedule it.
- Hamza AkhtarGood plan. When you do, I'm happy to sit in with them for the first run. Last thing on admin: connectors. Here's your list. Zendesk, Salesforce, Microsoft 365 and a few others. Green means loading, amber means it's behind. All green today.
- Johan BerglundOne question from my side. If we change the web shop platform next year, will the e-commerce connector break?
- Hamza AkhtarIt might need reconfiguring, yes. That's when connectors usually go flat, after a source system changes. So tell us early, tell Linnea, and we'll plan it rather than discover it on a Monday morning.
- Linnea HolmWe will put that on the project list. I will make sure IT copies me on anything like that.
- Hamza AkhtarBrilliant. I think we've covered what I'd planned, and we have time to spare, which is rare. Do you want to build that store page now? Johan, you could tell me which three questions a store manager would ask.
- Johan BerglundLet me think. How are online orders for my region doing compared to last year. Which products customers return after buying in store. And what are the top complaints this month. Does that make sense?
- Hamza AkhtarIt does. I'll save those three as searches, call the page Store region overview, and share the link with you both so you can show it to the stores.
- Linnea HolmThat looks clean. Thank you, Hamza. This was more useful than I expected.
- Hamza AkhtarGlad to hear it. Next steps. I'll send you a short recap with the saved searches and the page link. Linnea, you'll talk to IT about SCIM. Johan, you'll try the page with a couple of people on your side and send me what confuses them. Marcus Bell, your customer success manager, will pick up the usage conversation at the next check in.
- Johan BerglundSounds good. Thanks, both. Have a good weekend.
- Linnea HolmThank you, Hamza. Have a good weekend, everyone. Hej då.
- Hamza AkhtarCheers, both. Speak soon.
