What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Second onboarding call on 24 Jul 2025. Four first-wave connectors agreed, with store feedback started in parallel at Karin's push. Snowflake role and single sign-on need IT. Few users are logging in yet.
What happened: Hamza Akhtar walked through the first-wave connectors: CRM, helpdesk, e-commerce and store feedback. The CRM mapping was checked on screen and Linnea Holm will send the correct region field name.
Customer view: Karin Sjöberg pushed back on leaving the stores to the end, because managers lose interest if they see nothing for weeks. Hamza agreed to start the mapping in parallel.
Commercial: Hamza stated Enterprise at £99k a year, 150 licensed users and a customer since 1 Jun 2025. Only a small group is logging in so far.
Watch: Source changes made without telling the connector can quietly stop records loading. Sales operations sometimes add CRM fields.

Follow-up
Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Hamza Akhtar to send the connector checklist and the Snowflake script today.
- Linnea Holm to ask IT by tomorrow and send the corrected region field name.
- Karin Sjöberg to gather questions from three or four store managers in their own words.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Only a small group is logging in, so early value for the 150 licensed users is not yet visible.
- Store feedback is untidy and managers may lose interest if they see nothing soon.
- CRM field changes by sales operations could quietly break the mapping.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Single sign-on and automated user provisioning, included on Enterprise, can ease a wider user rollout.
- Real store manager questions can be used to show the brain's value.
Transcript
- Hamza AkhtarHello, can you hear me all right? I think I'm coming through, but tell me if it's crackly.
- Karin SjöbergHello Hamza, yes, we hear you well. How are you both today? Linnea is just joining, she is coming from another room.
- Linnea HolmHi, sorry, I am here. My camera is being slow. One moment.
- Hamza AkhtarNo rush at all. I'm well, thanks, Karin. It's been a warm week in London, so I'm hiding in the one room with a fan. How is Stockholm?
- Karin SjöbergAlso warm, for us. Everyone in the office talks about it. Very Swedish, we complain and then we go and sit outside.
- Linnea HolmIt is true. Okay, camera is working now.
- Hamza AkhtarLovely. So, today. This is the onboarding call, and what I'd like is simple. I want us to leave with a plan for the connectors, who owns each one on your side, and what order we do them in. Marcus will pick up as your customer success manager once you're settled, and Tom has the contract side, but for the next few weeks it's mostly me and you two. Does that sound right?
- Karin SjöbergYes. We should anchor this on what the stores need. What do the stores say? That is my first question, always. Customer service and e-commerce we understand quite well, but the store feedback is the one the managers will care about.
- Hamza AkhtarGood, and that's the right way round, honestly. So let me say where we are. You've been a customer since 1 Jun 2025, you're on Enterprise, the £99,000 a year, and there are 150 licensed users. At the moment only a small group is logging in, which is normal at this stage. The aim is to get the sources feeding in so there's something worth asking the brain.
- Linnea HolmYes. For now it is mostly Karin and me, and a couple of people from the customer service team who wanted to try.
- Hamza AkhtarThat's fine. Right, I'll share my screen. Give me a second, it always wants to share the wrong window.
- Hamza AkhtarOkay, can you see the connector list? Four things in the first wave. Your CRM, the helpdesk, the e-commerce platform, and the store feedback. Everything runs inside your own Snowflake account, so nothing leaves your environment, which I know matters for your security people.
- Linnea HolmYes, they asked me about that. They want to know who creates the role in Snowflake. Is it you, or is it us?
- Hamza AkhtarIt's you. I send a short script, a colleague in your IT team runs it, and that creates a role with only the access the brain needs. I never get a password. If you like, I can walk your IT colleague through it on a separate call.
- Karin SjöbergI think that is wise. Let us think about it together before we involve IT, so they are not surprised. Linnea, can you ask who would be the right person?
- Linnea HolmYes, I will ask today. I think it is someone on the platform side, but I want to be sure.
- Hamza AkhtarPerfect. Next, the order. My suggestion is CRM first, because Linnea knows it best and it gives us the account and segment structure everything else hangs on. Then the helpdesk, then e-commerce, and store feedback last, because that's usually the messiest.
- Karin SjöbergMm. I would perhaps not leave the stores to the end. If the managers see nothing from their side for weeks, they lose interest. Could we at least start it in parallel?
- Hamza AkhtarFair point. Yeah. We can start the store feedback mapping while the CRM loads, and just not switch it on until the format is settled. What does the feedback actually look like at the moment? Is it a form, a survey tool, or something manual?
- Linnea HolmIt is a mix, honestly. Some stores use the form, some send a spreadsheet to the regional manager. It is not tidy.
- Hamza AkhtarRight, that's what I expected. Then I'd rather get the form feed in first and treat the spreadsheets as a second step. Otherwise we're building around exceptions on day one.
- Karin SjöbergYes, I agree. And we should tell the regional managers why. Otherwise they feel their way of working is being ignored.
- Hamza AkhtarUnderstood. Linnea, can I ask about the CRM side? Who else touches the account records? I want to know who might change a field and break the mapping without knowing it.
- Linnea HolmMostly me. Sometimes the sales operations team adds fields. I can ask them to tell me before they change anything.
- Hamza AkhtarThat would help a lot. When a source changes and nobody tells the connector, that's usually how records stop loading. Not dramatic, just quiet.
- Hamza AkhtarOkay, I've put the CRM mapping on screen. Can you check the account name and segment fields? Tell me if anything looks wrong.
- Linnea HolmSegment looks right. The region field, I think, is not the same as the one we use in reports. Let me look.
- Linnea HolmYes, we use a different one. I will send you the correct name.
- Hamza AkhtarBrilliant, thank you. Second thing, single sign-on. It's included on Enterprise, along with automated user provisioning, so you don't have to add a hundred and odd people by hand. Who looks after identity on your side?
- Karin SjöbergThat is the IT team again. We should include it in the same conversation, I think, not run two.
- Hamza AkhtarAgreed. One conversation, both topics. Then the nightly refresh. Your data should be refreshed and ready by 07:00 your local time on business days, so the stores see fresh answers when they open.
- Karin SjöbergThat is good. The store managers start early, so that matters to them.
- Hamza AkhtarSo, to summarise. I'll send the connector checklist and the Snowflake script today. Linnea, you find the right IT person and send me the corrected region field. Karin, can you gather the questions the store managers would like to ask? Real ones, in their own words. That's what I'll test the brain against.
- Karin SjöbergYes, I can do that. I will ask three or four managers, not all of them. We should anchor it on a few voices first.
- Linnea HolmAnd I will ask IT by tomorrow. Thank you, Hamza.
- Hamza AkhtarThank you both. Speak soon, and stay cool over there.
- Karin SjöbergThank you. Goodbye, and take care.
