What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Pieter van Dam confirmed use in the weekly shipper review and a quiet ticket queue. He wants new port-side shippers covered and a one-page summary for Marloes ahead of the 1 Apr 2026 renewal.
What happened: Marcus Bell reported about thirteen active users a day, up by about a fifth on the previous quarter. Pieter van Dam said his account managers no longer switch between systems in the weekly shipper review.
Customer view: Tickets are quiet and Pieter is content with that. One account manager finds search returns too many results for big shippers, a small point, and a thirty-minute session was agreed.
Commercial: Pieter is taking on more shippers at the port side and asked about connectors, users and cost. Marcus will check connector slots on Growth and bring Tom in on price.
Renewal: The term runs to 31 Mar 2026 with renewal on 1 Apr 2026. Marloes will want to attend and will want quarterly billing in advance again, for Tom to confirm.

Transcript
- Marcus BellHello Pieter. Can you hear me alright?
- Pieter van DamYes, I hear you. Good afternoon, Marcus.
- Marcus BellAfternoon. Sorry, I'm just getting my screen up. Bear with me. Right, there we go. Can you see the usage page?
- Pieter van DamI see it. Before we start, let's check last time. You were going to send me the list of connectors, and I was going to ask my account managers about the exception ticket view. To be clear, I did my part. Did you do yours?
- Marcus BellI did, I sent it on Friday, I think. Everything loading, nothing stuck. Did it arrive?
- Pieter van DamIt arrived. Good. It was clear.
- Marcus BellGreat. So today I just want to cover three things. How usage looks this quarter, anything that's annoying your team, and what's coming up with the contract in the spring. Happy to jump on a longer call if any of it needs more time.
- Pieter van DamOkay. Go.
- Marcus BellSo I've pulled the numbers. Active users over the last thirty days are averaging around thirteen a day. Against the previous quarter that's up by about a fifth.
- Pieter van DamThirteen, out of forty seats. Is that good? What is the plan to get more people in?
- Marcus BellIt's the right direction, and I wouldn't expect all forty every day. People dip in when a shipper review comes up. You've got plenty of headroom on the licence, so there's no pressure there.
- Pieter van DamOkay. The weekly shipper review is where it happens. My account managers open the shipper page, they see the exception tickets, they see the last call. They don't switch between systems any more. That was the idea.
- Marcus BellThat's exactly the use we hoped for. Mm. And the exception tickets, you're seeing them before the shipper rings you?
- Pieter van DamMostly, yes. Not always. When it is not, I ask why. Usually the ticket came in late, not the brain.
- Marcus BellRight. That's useful to know. On our side there's been no support tickets from you in the last month, which I take as good news, but tell me if I'm missing something.
- Pieter van DamNo, nothing. It is quiet. Quiet is fine.
- Marcus BellQuiet is fine, agreed. Anything your people find fiddly? Searching, the chat, the pages?
- Pieter van DamOne of my account managers said the search gives too many results for the big shippers. But it is a small thing. She still uses it.
- Marcus BellOkay, I'll note that. I can show her a couple of ways to narrow it down, if she's up for it. Thirty minutes, no more.
- Pieter van DamYes. Let's make it concrete. Give me two slots next week and I will put her in.
- Marcus BellWill do. I'll send them this afternoon. Now, the other thing I wanted to ask. Are there any new shipper accounts or teams you want the brain to cover in the new year?
- Pieter van DamYes. We are taking on more shippers at the port side. I want those in the same view. So, what do I need? More connectors? More users?
- Marcus BellDepends what the new accounts sit in. If it's the same systems you've already connected, nothing changes. If it's something new, I'd need to check how many connector slots you've got left on Growth and come back to you. I don't want to guess.
- Pieter van DamGood. Please check. And tell me what it costs, if there is a cost.
- Marcus BellOn cost, that's Tom's side, so I'll make sure he's in the loop. He'll come back to you directly.
- Pieter van DamFine. Tom is good. We know him.
- Marcus BellWhich brings me to the contract. Your current term runs to 31 Mar 2026, and the renewal date is 1 Apr 2026. So not tomorrow, but it's coming. Tom will pick that up with you in the new year and I'll be on that call too.
- Pieter van DamOkay. Marloes will want to be there. She reads everything. She chose quarterly billing in advance and she will want it the same.
- Marcus BellUnderstood. That's one for Tom to confirm with her, but I'll flag it so nobody's surprised.
- Pieter van DamWhat is the plan? When do we talk about it?
- Marcus BellEarly in January. I'll ask Tom to put something in the diary this week, so it's there before people go off for the holidays.
- Pieter van DamGood. And before that, I want one more thing. A short usage summary I can show Marloes. Not the whole dashboard. One page. Questions asked, who uses it, the trend.
- Marcus BellYes, I can do that. I've pulled the numbers already so it's mostly formatting. I'll send it to you by the end of next week.
- Pieter van DamEnd of next week. Okay. To be clear, that is a commitment.
- Marcus BellIt is. If it's going to slip I'll tell you before, not after.
- Pieter van DamGood. Anything else from you?
- Marcus BellOnly that it's been a good quarter on usage. Your team's taking to it. I'd just like to keep that going, so the session with your account manager is worth doing.
- Pieter van DamYes. I agree. Then we are done, I think. I have another call at half past.
- Marcus BellPerfect. So, recap. I send two slots for the search session, I check connector slots and loop Tom in, I send you the one-page summary by the end of next week, and Tom gets the renewal conversation in the diary for January.
- Pieter van DamCorrect. Thank you, Marcus.
- Marcus BellThanks, Pieter. Speak soon. Bye.
- Pieter van DamGroet. Bye.
