What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Natasha Pryor and Luke Kitching heard the proposal on 2 Jan 2024: Starter tier, four systems, four weeks, quoted at six thousand plus eighteen and a half thousand. Both want to move, and legal will review the order form.
What happened: On 2 Jan 2024 Tom Ashdown walked Natasha Pryor and Luke Kitching through four connected systems on Snowflake. Natasha said she wants to move on it.
Customer view: Natasha does this by hand today, and it takes days. Luke asked about cost, what is included and when they could start.
Commercial: Tom quoted an implementation fee of £6,000 and a Starter subscription of eighteen and a half thousand, twenty-four and a half thousand for year one. He told Luke the price stays flat in years two and three.
Watch: The demo pitched Growth, about 20 users, three connectors and eight weeks; this call is Starter, fifteen users and four weeks. The flat-price statement should be checked against the executed order form, which is not in evidence.

- Scope moved from Growth with about 20 users to Starter with fifteen users, so early headroom is tight.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Tom said more users and connectors are available as add-ons if Tidecombe needs more.
- Natasha is a clear champion and offered to bring in Ravi and someone from repairs.
Transcript
- Tom AshdownThanks for coming back to me so quickly after the break. How was Christmas?
- Natasha PryorQuiet, which was nice. But I've been thinking about the brain, I want to move on this if it feels right.
- Luke KitchingYeah, Natasha's been talking about it non-stop. So let's hear the detail.
- Tom AshdownPerfect. So where we got to: you've got about nine thousand homes, repairs tickets, tenant contact data, and rent arrears all sitting in different systems. The brain would sit on top of Snowflake and join them all up, so you can ask questions like 'show me the tenants with the most open repairs and who are also in arrears', that kind of thing.
- Natasha PryorExactly. Right now I do that by hand: exporting, pivoting, calling people. It takes days.
- Luke KitchingAnd the brain would do that in... how long?
- Tom AshdownSeconds. You ask it a question in plain English and it answers. No SQL, no formulas. And the data refreshes every night.
- Natasha PryorWhat systems would we connect it to?
- Tom AshdownOn the proposal, we've got the housing CRM, the repairs system, the rent accounting system, and your helpdesk. Those are the four. We can add more later, but those are the high-value ones.
- Luke KitchingAnd the cost is?
- Tom AshdownSo, two parts. There's an implementation fee to set it all up, that's six thousand. Then the annual subscription on Starter tier is eighteen and a half thousand. So all-in for the first year, you're at twenty-four and a half thousand.
- Luke KitchingAnd what's included in implementation?
- Tom AshdownWe connect the four systems, map the fields, run a test refresh, and train your team. Four weeks, we reckon.
- Natasha PryorAnd then it's live? We can start asking it things?
- Tom AshdownYeah. Day one of month five, you're live. You've got the brain up, your data's clean, and you can start asking it stuff.
- Luke KitchingAnd after year one, the cost is eighteen and a half thousand per year?
- Tom AshdownThat's right. Year two, year three, all the same. Unless you add more users or connectors, it's flat.
- Natasha PryorHow many users can I add?
- Tom AshdownStarter comes with fifteen. You can go up to that, no problem. If you need more, there are add-ons, but fifteen is what most housing associations start with.
- Luke KitchingAnd who do we need from our side to make this work?
- Tom AshdownMainly you, Natasha, you're the champion, you'll drive it internally. We'll need access to the systems, so IT or whoever manages those connectors. And someone from finance or the CRM team who understands the data. Two, three people.
- Natasha PryorI can do that. I can be the main point of contact. And I'll get Ravi: he's our CRM admin: and we'll need someone from repairs, I reckon.
- Tom AshdownPerfect. And we'll send you a kickoff pack: technical requirements, a calendar for the implementation, all of that.
- Luke KitchingSo when would we start, if we said yes today?
- Tom AshdownWe can move fast. I'd say we'd want to kick off in early February. That gives us time to get the contract signed and the integrations scoped.
- Natasha PryorThat works for me. I want to move on this.
- Luke KitchingOkay. So what's the next step from your side?
- Tom AshdownI'll send you the order form. It's got the scope, the price, the timeline, the legal T and C's under an MSA. You review it with your legal and finance, and we'll get it signed.
- Luke KitchingAnd then we're live in four weeks?
- Tom AshdownWell, the implementation takes four weeks, so we'd be live at the end of February-ish, early March.
- Natasha PryorI think that's really good. I'm excited about it, Tom. This could change how we work.
- Tom AshdownI really think it will. The tenants you identify with open repairs and arrears together, you can do interventions in a way you just can't do now. Cheers for your time, both of you.
- Luke KitchingThanks, Tom. We'll get legal to look at the order form.
- Natasha PryorThanks.
