What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Nell Ashcombe set up a demo with Harjit Bains, who asked to see the scheme record, open member queries and recent contact in one place. Demo agreed for Thursday at 14:00. Largely logistical.
Ask: Nell wanted a demo on something close to Ardenmore's own world.
Customer view: Harjit's test is "No surprises for the client", pulling together what a trustee is likely to ask.
Next: Nell will send an invitation and start from a trustee question, working back to the sources.

- Nell Ashcombe 22 Jun 2023 17:25Harjit, Thanks for the conversation earlier. As promised, I would like to get a demo in the diary so you can see the brain working on something close to your own world, rather than a slide deck. It would help to know what you would like to leave the demo with. If there is a specific question your client relationship team struggles to answer quickly, tell me and we will build the session around it. Would later next week suit, or is the diary too full with other things? Best, Nell
- Harjit Bains 26 Jun 2023 08:50Hello Nell, Thank you, and apologies for the slow reply, it has been a busy few days with a trustee meeting coming up. What I would most like to see is how quickly we could pull together what a trustee is likely to ask: the scheme record, any open member queries and recent contact with the client, all in one place. No surprises for the client is the test I will be applying. Thursday afternoon would work for me. Could we say 14:00? If you need anything from us beforehand, let me know. Kind regards, Harjit
- Nell Ashcombe 26 Jun 2023 10:20Harjit, Thursday at 14:00 is fine. I will send an invitation this morning. That test is a good one. We will start with a trustee question and work backwards to the sources behind it, and I will show you where the answer comes from so you can judge whether you would trust it in the room. Best, Nell
