Rachel sent a second reminder for INV-158-0002, £54k gross, due 10 May 2026. Russell apologised, said it was held up matching the purchase order, and that it is in the next payment run.

Ask: Rachel asked for the PO number and a payment date, or remittance advice if already paid.

Customer view: Russell attributed the delay to purchase order matching on Hartside's side and committed to the full £54k. This reads as a process delay, not a dispute about value.

Next: Russell will send the remittance once the payment has gone. The thread does not show payment received.

Dear Russell, Please find attached invoice INV-158-0002 for your records. It was issued on 10 Apr 2026 and fell due on 10 May 2026. Our ledger shows it as unpaid, and this is our second reminder. The net amount is £45,000, VAT is £9,000 and the gross amount due is £54,000. Could you confirm the PO number and let me know when payment will be released? If it has already been paid, please send the remittance advice. Kind regards, Rachel Dunmore Finance Manager

Rachel, Thanks for the reminder, and apologies, this should have gone through before now. It got held up on our side while the purchase order was matched to the invoice. That is now sorted and INV-158-0002 is in the next payment run for the full £54,000. I'll send the remittance once it has gone. Regards, Russell
