Current to 14 Oct 26Laura Penhaligon booked a working session with Alan Rennie, the brain's admin on the billing side. He agreed to Tuesday afternoon and warned that billing extracts hold legacy customer references that do not match the CRM.
Ask: Laura wanted an hour with Alan to review how billing and account data is held and which sources to connect first.
Customer view: Alan was cooperative and volunteered a data quality issue early. Monday was ruled out by month-end billing checks.
Next: Laura asked him to bring examples of the mismatched references and sent an invite for Tuesday afternoon.

- Laura Penhaligon 5 Sep 2025 16:57Hi Alan, I'm Laura, the implementation consultant for the Kenmure onboarding. Shona suggested you are the right person for the billing and data side, and you will be the admin on the brain. I'd like to book a working session with you to look at how billing and account data is held today and which of it should be connected first. It would take about an hour and I'd ask you to have access to the accounting system open if you can. Would early next week suit you, either Monday or Tuesday? Tell me what works and I'll send an invite. Thanks, Laura
- Alan Rennie 5 Sep 2025 18:25Hi Laura, Yes, happy to. Monday is no good as we have month-end billing checks, but Tuesday afternoon should be fine. One thing to flag: our billing extracts are a bit messy, there are a few legacy customer references that do not match the CRM. I'm not sure whether that matters for what you are doing, but better you hear it from me now. Alan
- Laura Penhaligon 8 Sep 2025 15:46Hi Alan, Thanks, and good to know about the references. It does matter a little, because the brain joins customers across systems, but it is common and we can deal with it in the session. Bring a few examples of the ones that do not match if you can pull them. I've sent an invite for Tuesday afternoon. If the time doesn't suit, just say and I'll move it. Speak soon, Laura
