What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Tobias Renwick offered Marisol Vega a direct architecture conversation. She accepted on her terms: scope first, three documents ready, no commercial discussion, and a compliance colleague present.
Ask: Marisol wants the call to confirm what data is in scope, then see the data flow, how exclusions are applied and logged, and how a removal from the index is evidenced.
Customer view: She welcomed being dealt with at CTO level but set firm limits and asked that nothing commercial be raised.
Next: Tobias confirmed Tuesday afternoon, will bring the solutions engineer, and will put unanswered items in writing. Evidencing removal is the item most likely to be tested.

- Tobias Renwick 9 Jul 2026 17:45Dear Marisol, I have seen your note to our support lead this morning, and I wanted to write to you myself, because I think a short conversation about the architecture would be more useful to you than a series of written answers. To be precise about what I can offer: I can walk you through where the brain runs, which is inside your own Snowflake account, what is indexed there, and how a field is excluded so that it is not read in the first place. I can also say where I do not yet have an answer, and I will put those items in writing afterwards, not guess. Would you be able to spare some time early next week? Tell me which days suit you, and what your security team will most need to see, so I can prepare the right diagram. Best, Tobias
- Marisol Vega 9 Jul 2026 19:22Tobias, Thank you for writing, and for taking this at your level. I am glad of it. I am available on Monday or Tuesday afternoon, Chicago time. I would like the call to begin by confirming what data is in scope, and I would ask you to keep to that order. Please also have available: - the data flow, showing where each connector's content is held - how exclusions are applied and how they are logged - how a record is removed from the index, and how that removal can be evidenced I will not discuss commercial matters on this call, and I would ask that none be raised. I will have one colleague from our compliance team attend. Marisol Vega
- Tobias Renwick 10 Jul 2026 12:32Dear Marisol, Thank you. Tuesday afternoon suits me. Please send an invitation at a time that works for you, and I will make it fit. I will start with what data is in scope, as you ask, and I will bring our solutions engineer, who will take any questions on connector detail. I will have the three items ready: the data flow, the exclusion and logging, and the removal from the index. The honest answer on the third is that evidencing a removal takes a little more care than performing it, so I would like to show you precisely what the record of it looks like, and not just tell you it exists. No commercial matters will be raised, and your colleague from compliance is very welcome. Best, Tobias
