Daniel Okafor asked Rupert Lasker for a renewal conversation on the Growth subscription. Rupert would not commit to anything, asked for a usage note first, and questioned why the firm pays for 40 users.

Ask: Daniel wanted a renewal slot ahead of the 2 Jul 2026 end date and said usage had dipped. Rupert wants a note on actual use before spending anyone's time, and asked whether the annual cost is still £44k.

Customer view: The CFO is treating the renewal as a value and price question. He links thin usage directly to paying for 40 users.

Next: Daniel needs to send the usage note and answer the cost question from the order form. The thread does not show whether a meeting was booked or what the renewal outcome was.

Dear Rupert, Thank you for your time on our recent call. Just to close the loop on what we discussed: your Growth subscription runs to 2 Jul 2026, so I would like to find a slot for a proper renewal conversation well before then. I think it would be worth the two of us sitting down, with whoever on your side you would like to bring, and going through how the brain is being used across the 40 licensed users. Honestly, usage has dipped over the last few months, and I would rather we looked at that together and decided what would make it useful again than let it drift towards the renewal date. Could you let me have a couple of times that suit you in the next week or two? I can fit around your diary. If it helps, I can send a short note beforehand setting out what is in use today, so you are not walking in cold. I'll come back to you with a calendar invitation as soon as you have picked a time. Best wishes, Daniel Daniel Okafor Customer Success Manager, BG-Demo

Daniel, Thanks for this. I can do a call, but I should be clear that I am not in a position to commit to anything at this stage. Before we find a time, can you send over that note on what we are actually using? I would like to see it before I spend anyone's time on a meeting. Please also remind me of the annual cost, I want to check it against what I have in front of me: is it still £44,000? If the usage is as thin as you suggest, I will want to understand why we are paying for 40 users.
