Daniel Okafor invited Rupert Lasker to a renewal conversation. Rupert asked what they actually use and the annual cost before giving up time. Daniel admitted use is light and a small group asks most questions.

Ask: Rupert will talk only after seeing usage and the annual cost, which Daniel gives as £44k for 40 licensed users. He has now asked the same question twice across threads.

Customer view: Daniel is candid that logins are well below licences and a small group asks most questions. That is a key-person risk, though connectors are running and data is current.

Next: Daniel proposed a call on a Tuesday or Wednesday with a one-page usage summary beforehand. There is no reply from Rupert in the thread.

Dear Rupert, I hope you are well. Just to open the conversation early: your Growth subscription runs to 2 Jul 2026, and I would like to find a short slot with you to talk through where things stand and what you would want from the next year. I am conscious that Saskia and Sofia are already talking about how the directors use the brain, so I do not want to duplicate that. This would be about the commercial side and what is worth to you, which is your call rather than ours. Would half an hour in the next week or two work? I will come back to you with whatever suits you. Best wishes, Daniel

Daniel, Thanks. Happy to talk, but before I give up time, what are we actually using? And remind me of the annual cost. Rupert

Dear Rupert, Thank you, and apologies for the few days' gap while I pulled things together properly. The contracted annual cost is £44,000 for the Growth subscription, which covers 40 licensed users. On usage, I will be honest with you: the number of people logging in each month is well below the licences you hold, and a small group is asking most of the questions. The connectors you set up are still running and the data is current, so the foundation is there, but the day to day use is lighter than it should be for what you are paying. I would rather you heard that from me than found it in a report. That is partly why I would like us to talk before the renewal, so that we can look at what is worth keeping, what could be simpler, and whether it earns its place. I would not want you to commit to anything on a first conversation, and I will not ask you to. Could you do a call next week? If Tuesday or Wednesday is easier I will work around you. I will send a one page usage summary beforehand so you can see it for yourself. Best wishes, Daniel On 10 Apr 2026, at 16:57, Rupert Lasker wrote: > what are we actually using?
