Current to 13 Oct 26Kwame Asante, CTO, is reviewing every data tool and asked in writing for connections, data location and annual cost. Daniel Okafor answered £44k on Growth with 40 licensed users; Kwame will set that against a build-versus-buy case.
Ask: Kwame wants the connected systems, where the data lives and who can access it, and the annual cost, plus an architecture diagram. His team is comparing what Delancey Haig runs in-house against what it buys.
Customer view: He accepted Snowflake as the answer on data location but wants the roles BB-Demo holds in the account in writing. He will weigh £44k against what his team could build and run, including what they would have to rebuild.
Next: Daniel owes the connector list and diagram that week. Kwame wants technical material sent to him directly, with Priya Raman kept copied.

- Kwame Asante 26 Jan 2026 16:05Daniel, I am reviewing every data tool the firm pays for, and the brain is on the list. Before we speak I need three things in writing: - every system the brain connects to today - where the data lives, and who has access to it - the annual cost as it currently stands My team will be building a view of what we run in-house against what we buy, so the build-versus-buy case needs to be clear for each tool. Where does the data live, in particular? I would rather read that than assume it. If you have an architecture diagram, please send it as well. Kwame
- Daniel Okafor 27 Jan 2026 12:08Hello Kwame, Thank you for writing, and for being so clear about what you need. I have copied Priya, who looked after the original agreement, so that we are all working from the same facts. Taking your three points in turn: - Connected systems: I will send you the full list straight from your admin console, so it reflects what is live today rather than what I remember from the design stage. I would rather you had the exact list than my summary of it. - Where the data lives: the brain is built and run inside Delancey Haig's own Snowflake account. BB-Demo does not hold a separate copy of your data on our side. I will send the architecture diagram with the list. - Annual cost: the contracted subscription is £44,000 a year on the Growth tier, with 40 licensed users. The current term runs to 2 Jul 2026. Just to close the loop on the build-versus-buy question, I am happy to walk your team through what the brain does day to day, so that any comparison is like for like. I will come back to you by the end of this week with the list and the diagram. How is the team finding it at the moment? I would value your view as well. Best wishes, Daniel
- Kwame Asante 27 Jan 2026 13:03Daniel, Thanks, that is helpful and quick. Snowflake is the right answer to the data question, but I will want the detail: which roles BB-Demo holds in our account and what they can reach. I do not take a vendor's word on security, so please send that in writing with the list. On cost, understood. I will set £44,000 against what my team could build and run themselves, and I will want to see what we would have to rebuild, not only what we would stop paying for. Please keep Priya copied for now, but send the technical material to me directly. Kwame
