What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Lewis Kerr sent the £4,548 expansion order form to CFO Malcolm Ridgway. Malcolm asked whether anything recurs on top of the £128k paid and what it does for falling use of the 200 licences. He will sign when it is clear.
Ask: Malcolm wants the base, any recurring cost from year two and the effect on usage written down. He does not want to pay for more of something not being used.
Customer view: the CFO is open to signing but conditional. Lewis conceded that active use against the 200 licences has fallen and offered Daniel Okafor, the customer success manager, to present the usage picture.
Next: the amended schedule must state any recurring element. Lewis told Malcolm the 14 Sep 2026 date was a target and can move.

- Lewis Kerr 10 Sep 2026 16:39Malcolm, The expansion order form is with you for signature. I have checked it against the deal record rather than going from memory. The deal amount is £4,548 in total. It is co-termed to your renewal on 27 Feb 2027 and sits under the existing Enterprise order form, which remains as it is. Fiona and Bernadette have both seen the commercial summary. Fiona raised a couple of points on the split of one-off and recurring charges, and I have reflected those on the schedule. We are aiming to complete on Monday 14 Sep 2026. Do tell me if the schedule needs anything further from our side first. Kind regards, Lewis
- Malcolm Ridgway 10 Sep 2026 18:26Lewis, I have read the schedule. Three questions. The £4,548: what is the base? Is that the whole cost of the expansion, or does some of it recur each year on top of the £127,500 we already pay? Second, and the cost of that is? If the answer to the first is that something recurs, I want the annual figure from the second year written down, not described. Third, I have seen active use drop against the 200 licences we hold. Before I add anything, tell me what the expansion does for that. I do not want to pay for more of something we are not using. Put it in writing and I will sign when it is clear. Malcolm Ridgway
- Lewis Kerr 11 Sep 2026 16:05Malcolm, Thank you for the questions. Taking them in turn. 1. The base. The £4,548 is the total value of the expansion deal. It is not an annual price, and it does not replace or change the £127,500 annual contracted amount. I have asked for the order form to state which part, if any, recurs, so that it is written down and not left to my description. I will send that over today. 2. The cost from the second year. I do not want to quote a recurring figure from memory. The amended schedule will show it, or show that there is none. 3. Usage. You are right that active use against the 200 licences has fallen. I would not ask you to sign on the strength of a sales view. Daniel Okafor, your customer success manager, can bring the usage picture to the same conversation, so you can judge what the expansion would change and what it would not. The date of Monday 14 Sep 2026 was our target, not a deadline on your side. If you need more time to be comfortable, say so and we will move it. Kind regards, Lewis
