Current to 13 Oct 26Deepa Chauhan says the team finds the brain useful and branch managers want the same view on their own accounts. She set three agenda points and asked for sources behind each number. The review was set for a Tuesday morning.
Customer view: Deepa reports the brain is useful and that branch managers are asking for the same account view. This is the most positive voice in the Merriott Lyle threads.
Ask: she wants the review to show which accounts key-account managers look at, which branches ask questions, and what credit control see on disputes, with the source of each number.
Next: Daniel Okafor is to draft the agenda and invite credit control and a regional director. The term runs to 27 Feb 2026, so the review needs to happen before then.

- Daniel Okafor 9 Feb 2026 09:42Hello Deepa, I hope the week has started well. I would like to get the next quarterly review booked, and I would like to do it with the account-data review in mind, as I know that is where you get credit control and the regional directors in the same room. Usage has been steady since the last quarter, which is good to see, and I would like to spend most of the session on what the branch and key-account teams are actually doing with the account view, rather than walking through a deck. Could you let me know which days suit you and who you would like to invite? I would suggest someone from credit control and one of the regional directors, but you know your people far better than I do. I am also conscious that your term runs to 27 Feb 2026, so it would be good to hold the review before then. How is the team finding it at the moment? Best wishes, Daniel
- Deepa Chauhan 11 Feb 2026 08:11Hi Daniel, Thanks for this. The team are finding it useful, and the branch managers who use it are starting to ask for the same view on their own accounts, which I take as a good sign. For the review, three things I would like on the agenda: which accounts the key-account managers are looking at most, which branches are asking questions and which are not, and what credit control are seeing on disputes. Show me where each number comes from, please, so nobody in the room thinks we are picking figures. Let's get credit control in the room. I will ask them and one of the regional directors. Can you do next Tuesday morning or Wednesday afternoon? Not Thursday, as that is the monthly review. Thanks, Deepa
- Daniel Okafor 11 Feb 2026 10:38Hello Deepa, Thank you, that is very helpful. Tuesday morning is fine for me, so let us go with that. If you can send me the names of your two guests, I will send the invitation from my side. I will build the session around your three points and have the source behind each number beside it, so we can answer the question "where does that come from" without hunting. I will also put together a short list of anything that has been awkward for the team, so we can deal with it openly, not as a side issue. I'll come back to you by tomorrow with a draft agenda. Best wishes, Daniel
