What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Daniel Okafor flagged fewer logins across the 200 licensed users and asked for time on the renewal. CFO Malcolm Ridgway wants the comparison base, what BB-Demo has done for debtor days and credit control, and the renewal cost in writing first.
Ask: Daniel Okafor opened on 16 Jan 2026 by raising lower logins himself and asking for half an hour. Malcolm replied on 21 Jan 2026 and agreed to Thursday at 14:00, on his terms.
Customer view: Malcolm questions the login claim ("Fewer than what, and by how much?") and rules out a features meeting. He wants to know what the company is paying for and what it has done for debtor days and credit control.
Next: Daniel committed to bring user numbers with the comparison period stated and examples of what the team asked the brain about credit. Lewis Kerr is to send the renewal position in writing before the call.

- Daniel Okafor 16 Jan 2026 14:54Dear Malcolm, Thank you for your time on the phone earlier in the month. I wanted to get a conversation in the diary about the renewal, as your Enterprise term runs to 27 Feb 2026 and I would like us to have talked properly well before then. I also want to be straight with you about one thing. Looking at the last quarter, fewer people across your 200 licensed users have been logging in than before, and I would rather we looked at that together than have you find it in a report. I do not yet have a full picture of why, and I would not want to guess in an email. I think the people who can tell me are on your side. Would you have half an hour next week? I can work around your diary. If it is easier for Deepa to join, I am happy with that, though I know you like to keep the money conversation separate. I'll come back to you by the end of the week with a short note of what I would like to cover, so you can see it in writing first. Best wishes, Daniel
- Malcolm Ridgway 21 Jan 2026 08:53Daniel, What has changed since we last spoke? You mention fewer logins. Fewer than what, and by how much? I need the base before I can say whether it matters. I can do Thursday at 14:00. Not a features meeting. I want to know what we are paying for, what it has done for debtor days and credit control, and what the renewal looks like on paper. Put the note in writing beforehand, as you suggest. And the cost of the renewal, as it stands today, so I am not hearing it for the first time on the call. Malcolm Ridgway
- Daniel Okafor 23 Jan 2026 17:59Dear Malcolm, Thank you, and apologies that this is landing at the end of the week rather than earlier. Thursday at 14:00 works for me, so I have put it in the diary. Just to close the loop on your questions. I will bring the user numbers with the comparison period stated next to them, so you have the base you asked for. I will also bring what the team have been asking the brain about credit and accounts, so we can talk about what it has done rather than what it can do. Lewis owns the commercial terms and I will make sure the renewal position is with you in writing before we speak. I will not give you a number on this email that I have not checked against the order form. If there is anything you would like me to look at beforehand, tell me and I will have it ready. Best wishes, Daniel
