What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Hamza Akhtar plans training for northern branch teams. Neil Ashworth welcomes it, says branch managers asked for it and some already use the brain for dispute queries, and wants a quick rollout across the rest of the North if it goes well.
Ask: Hamza proposed a practical session on asking the brain about trade accounts, starting with a small group.
Customer view: Neil is positive and specific. He prefers an online first group in the afternoons, made up of active branch managers and a couple of key-account people.
Next: Neil sends names by the end of the week, and Hamza should plan follow-ups with a wider North rollout in mind.

- Hamza Akhtar 14 May 2025 09:14Hello Neil, Good to speak last time. I am pulling together the training sessions for the northern branch teams and wanted to check a few things with you before I send out invitations. The idea is a practical session on asking the brain about trade accounts: finding an account's recent orders, open disputes, calls and invoices in one place, rather than hopping between systems. I would keep it to a small group first so we can see what questions your branch managers actually ask, then widen it. Could you tell me: - which days next week work best for your branch managers - whether you would prefer it online or in person at one of your sites - who you would like in the first group Usage across the northern branches has been picking up nicely, so it feels like a good moment to build on that. - Neil Ashworth 14 May 2025 11:39Hamza, Thanks, this is welcome. The branch managers have been asking for exactly this, a few of them are already using it for dispute queries and are keen to show the others. Online is easier for the first group, as the branches are spread out and I do not want people driving across the region for a session. Tuesday or Wednesday next week would suit best, afternoons rather than mornings as the counters are busy early on. For the first group I would pick the branch managers who are already active plus a couple of key-account people. I will send you the names by the end of the week. If it goes well I would want to roll it out to the rest of the North fairly quickly, so keep that in mind when you plan the follow-ups. Regards, Neil
