What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Malcolm Ridgway, CFO, says he will not sign until the £146k is shown with its base and one-off and recurring parts are written down. Tom Ashdown explains it is a total including implementation and promises a corrected copy.
Ask: Malcolm asks whether £146k is a yearly figure and wants one-off and recurring items stated, with the recurring cost. He says he will not sign until both are on the page.
Customer view: He rejects figures without a base. The form had not made clear that the total includes the one-off implementation fee.
Next: Tom promises a corrected copy first thing on Monday with the lines labelled.

- Tom Ashdown 12 Feb 2025 14:30Hi Malcolm, Tom here from BG-Demo. I'm picking this up alongside Lewis so you've got a second pair of hands on the paperwork. The order form for the Enterprise tier is attached and ready for signature. The schedule at the back lists the connectors, the subscription line and the one-off implementation fee, each on its own line. The deal total is £146,500. If you could read through it and let me know if anything needs changing, I'll turn it round quickly. We were aiming for Friday 14 Feb 2025 but no drama if you need a bit longer. Best, Tom
- Malcolm Ridgway 13 Feb 2025 12:28Tom, I have read the schedule. The £146,500. Is that a yearly figure? The form does not say, and I do not accept a number without its base. Second, put in writing what is one-off and what recurs. And the cost of that recurring part is? I will not sign until both are on the page. Malcolm Ridgway
- Tom Ashdown 14 Feb 2025 16:41Hi Malcolm, Fair questions, and sorry the form wasn't clearer. The £146,500 is the total deal value and it includes the one-off implementation fee, so it is not an annual price. The recurring part is the annual subscription, which sits on its own line on the schedule and is invoiced yearly in advance. I'll confirm the exact split in writing on the schedule itself rather than leave you to work it out, so the base is there next to every figure. I'll get a corrected copy to you first thing on Monday, with the one-off and recurring lines labelled. Leave that with me. If it's easier to talk it through with Lewis, he's happy to jump on a call, but I'd rather you had it in writing first, as you say. Best, Tom
