What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026After the quarterly review, Richard Thorne asked what the arrangement costs all in and until when, for the board in the new year. Daniel Okafor gave the Growth figure and term, and promised renewal terms in writing.
Ask: Richard wants a simple summary of cost and term early, so it is ready for the board. Callum's team wants the capacity-provider questions kept in one view.
Customer view: Positive on usage, but the COO is focused on price. Daniel gave £44k a year for 40 users, running to 30 Jun 2026, and held back renewal terms.
Next: Daniel owes the renewal position in writing, after confirming it with Priya. The thread does not show it sent.

- Daniel Okafor 17 Nov 2025 17:48Hello Callum, Richard, Thank you both for your time today. Just to close the loop on the quarterly review, here is where I think we landed. Usage is up on the previous quarter, and more of the underwriting operations team are asking the brain questions directly rather than going to Callum's people first. That is the pattern we hoped for when we set it up, and it is good to see it holding. We also had no support tickets of any weight over the last month, which I take as a sign the nightly refresh is doing its job. Three things I took away from the call: - Callum's team would like the oversight questions from the capacity providers kept together in one place, so they can be answered from the same view each time. - Richard asked what the arrangement looks like for the coming year, and I said I would put that in writing for him. - We will keep the next check-in short and practical. Richard, if it helps, I can send a one-page summary of what the subscription covers today and when it runs to. Let me know and I will get it over. How is the team finding it day to day? Callum, I would be glad to hear anything that is getting in the way, however small. Best wishes, Daniel
- Richard Thorne 18 Nov 2025 12:04Daniel, Thank you for the note. A one-page summary would be useful. Keep it simple. What does this cost us, all in, and until when? I will need to take that to the board in the new year, so I would rather have it in front of me early than be asked for it. Regards, Richard Thorne
- Daniel Okafor 20 Nov 2025 08:14Richard, Callum, Here is the summary Richard asked for, kept short. The Growth subscription is £44,000 a year, and that is the contracted annual figure. It covers 40 licensed users. The current term runs to 30 Jun 2026, and it has been in place since 1 Jul 2024. I have not put any renewal terms in this note, because I do not want to guess at them before I have confirmed the detail with Priya on our side. I will come back to you by the end of next week with the renewal position in writing, so Richard has it well ahead of the board. Callum, nothing further needed from you for now, but do tell me if the capacity-provider questions change shape and we will adjust the view. Best wishes, Daniel
