Internal draft proposal dated 16 Jan 2024 by Tom Ashdown for a small expansion of the existing Starter subscription. It states an annual price of £3,500 and a deal amount of £1,975. Not shared with the customer; scope and figures are unconfirmed.

What it is: a draft proposal, marked "Not yet shared with the customer", for an expansion under the current Starter order form and master agreement. The existing subscription is stated as £20k a year for 15 licensed users, running to 29 Aug 2024.

Commits: nothing yet. It is a draft and every figure is "to be confirmed before anything goes to the customer". Intended term is co-termed to 29 Aug 2024, billed annual in advance.

Unusual: the document gives two different figures, a £3,500 annual price and a £1,975 deal amount, and says the deal amount "is not an annual price". No discount is applied.

Not settled: what the expansion covers (extra users, extra connectors or a mix), how the deal amount is invoiced, who signs for the customer, and how the current licence is being used.

Body

Ardenmore Pension Administration - Proposal v1

Draft. Prepared by Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, BB-Demo. Dated Tuesday 16 Jan 2024. Not yet shared with the customer.

Context

Ardenmore Pension Administration has been a BB-Demo customer since 30 Aug 2023, on the Starter tier, for its client-relationship team. The current subscription is £20k a year for 15 licensed users, and the term runs to 29 Aug 2024.

This proposal sets out a small expansion to that existing Starter subscription, so the team can get more from what it already has in place.

Proposed scope

  • An expansion of the existing Starter subscription, sitting under the current order form and the same master agreement.
  • No change of tier.
  • The existing connectors, users and service levels carry on as they are today.
  • The exact content of the expansion (extra users, extra connectors, or a mix) is still to be agreed with the customer. See open points below.

Pricing

ItemAmount
Annual price of the expansion£3,500
Deal amount (total value of this deal)£1,975
Existing contracted annual recurring revenue£20k
Read the whole document (2,333 characters)

The deal amount is the total value of this deal. It is not an annual price; the annual price is the £3,500 line above. No discount is applied in this draft. All figures are to be confirmed before anything goes to the customer.

Term and billing

  • The expansion would run alongside the current subscription and be co-termed with it, ending on 29 Aug 2024.
  • Billing follows the existing arrangements on the account, annual in advance unless the customer asks otherwise.
  • Standard payment terms apply.

Open points

  • Confirm with the customer what the expansion should cover and who it is for.
  • Check with Marcus Bell how the current user base is using the licence, so we are not selling more of something that is sitting idle.
  • Confirm the pricing lines and how the deal amount is to be invoiced.
  • Agree who at the customer signs.
