What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Draft proposal dated 6 Jul 2023 from Nell Ashcombe for the company brain on the Starter tier for one team. Annual subscription £20k; first-year deal value £26k including the one-off implementation fee. Service levels are not stated in figures.
What it is: a short draft proposal prepared on 6 Jul 2023 by Nell Ashcombe, marked "Draft" for discussion. It is not an order form and binds no one.
Pricing: "The £26k is the total value of the deal. It is not the annual price." The annual subscription is £20k, billed annually in advance, with 30-day payment terms and quarterly billing available.
Service levels: Section 4 refers to standard Starter service levels but gives no figures, and says they will be set out in the order form.
Not settled: which four systems to connect, the day-to-day contact, annual or quarterly billing, and any security questions. The evidence does not show whether an order form followed. Any executed order form would override this draft.

Body
Ardenmore Pension Administration - Proposal v1
Draft for discussion. Prepared on 6 Jul 2023 by Nell Ashcombe, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder, BB-Demo.
1. Context
Ardenmore is a third-party administrator for about fifty occupational pension schemes run by Midlands employers. Your client-relationship team holds a lot of what it needs to know about each scheme across several systems, and finding the answer to a simple question means opening more than one of them.
This proposal sets out what we would put in front of that team, what it costs, and how we would get started. It follows our earlier conversations and is deliberately short.
2. What we propose
We would set up the company brain for the client-relationship team on our Starter tier. The brain is one layer you can ask questions of, built and run inside your own Snowflake account, over the systems that team already uses.

| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Tier | Starter |
| Scope | One team: client relationships |
| Users | Fifteen users (a soft limit) |
| Connectors | Four connectors (a hard limit) |
| Features | Pages, chat and search |
| Customer success | A check-in every six months |
| Implementation | Fixed fee, about four weeks |
Which four systems to connect is the first open point. We would suggest choosing the ones the team opens most often, and we can confirm the list with you before anything is signed.
3. Pricing
| Line | Amount |
|---|---|
| Starter annual subscription | £20k |
| Total deal value in the first year, including the one-off implementation fee | £26k |
The £26k is the total value of the deal. It is not the annual price. The annual subscription is £20k, billed annually in advance, with 30-day payment terms. Quarterly billing is available if you prefer it.
4. Service levels
Starter carries the standard service levels for that tier: availability, a first-response time for priority issues, and a nightly refresh of your data ready by the start of the business day. We will set these out in full in the order form, so that you can see them in writing.
5. How we would start
- Agree scope. Confirm the team, the users and the four systems.
- Implementation. We build and connect inside your Snowflake account over about four weeks.
- Hand-over. We show the team how to ask the brain real questions about their own schemes and clients.
- Check-in. We meet again after six months and say what the usage tells us, good or bad.
6. Open points
- Which four systems to connect first.
- Who in your team will be the day-to-day contact during implementation.
- Whether you want annual or quarterly billing.
- Any security questions your trustees or clients would expect us to answer. Tell us now and we will answer them in writing.
7. Next steps
If this looks right, the next step is an order form under our standard terms. Your account owner, Tom Ashdown, will send it once the open points are settled. Marcus Bell would look after you as Customer Success Manager once the brain is live.
If something here does not match what you need, say so and we will change it.
Best, Nell
