Parties and background
This Data Processing Agreement sits under the Master Services Agreement between Saltdean Hart Insurance Brokers ("the Customer", the controller) and BG-Demo ("BG-Demo", the processor). It applies whenever BG-Demo processes personal data on the Customer's behalf in providing B-Glass.

Customer instructions
BG-Demo will process personal data only on the Customer's documented instructions, which are the Master Services Agreement, this agreement and the configuration the Customer sets in its own environment. BG-Demo will tell the Customer if it believes an instruction breaches data protection law.
Confidentiality
BG-Demo will ensure that anyone authorised to process the personal data is bound by a duty of confidentiality and has access only where needed to deliver the service.
Security
Because the brain runs inside the Customer's Snowflake account, the Customer's own access controls, roles and network settings continue to apply. BG-Demo will maintain appropriate technical and organisational measures for the parts of the service it controls, including access control for its staff, logging of administrative access and protection of credentials used to reach connected systems.
Sub-processors
BG-Demo will not engage another processor for the Customer's personal data without the Customer's general written authorisation. BG-Demo will flow down equivalent data protection obligations to any approved sub-processor and will remain responsible for its performance.
Assistance and breach notification
- BG-Demo will help the Customer respond to requests from data subjects, taking into account the nature of the processing.
- BG-Demo will notify the Customer without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting the Customer's data, with the information it holds at that point.
- BG-Demo will assist with data protection impact assessments and consultations where reasonably required.
Location of processing
The Customer is based in the United Kingdom and the data stays in the Customer's own Snowflake account. BG-Demo will not move the Customer's personal data outside that account except on the Customer's instruction.
Return and deletion
On the end of the Master Services Agreement, BG-Demo will, at the Customer's choice, return or delete the personal data it holds on the Customer's behalf, unless the law requires it to be kept.
Audit
BG-Demo will make available the information reasonably necessary to show compliance with this agreement and will allow and contribute to audits by the Customer or its appointed auditor, on reasonable notice and during business hours.
