Draft proposal of 8 Aug 2025 from Lewis Kerr for a Growth expansion at £9,000 a year, with a deal value of £2,934 co-termed to 5 Jan 2026. Not issued for signature; scope and signatory are unconfirmed.

What it is: an unissued draft proposal, marked "Not yet issued for signature", to expand the existing Growth subscription of £42k a year. It sits in the customer's Proposals folder and is an open item, not a contract.

Commits: nothing yet. It states the annual price of the expansion as £9,000 and a total deal value of £2,934, co-termed to the term ending 5 Jan 2026, invoiced under the existing order form and master agreement.

Unusual: the deal value is not an annual figure because of the co-terming. Any discount would apply to the first term only.

Not settled: the additional capacity ("to be confirmed with your contract management team"), the customer signatory, and whether the expansion features in the renewal conversation. The text does not say if a final proposal or order form followed.

Body

Kingdon Diagnostics - Proposal v1

Draft. Prepared by Lewis Kerr, Account Executive, BG-Demo. Date: 8 Aug 2025. Not yet issued for signature.

1. Context

Kingdon Diagnostics has been a BG-Demo customer since 6 Jan 2025 on the Growth tier, with 40 licensed users and contracted annual recurring revenue of £42k. The brain brings together each trust's referrals, reporting-turnaround tickets and invoices for the contract management team across the network's twelve sites.

Usage has been steady, there are no overdue invoices and support has been quiet. This proposal sets out an expansion of the existing Growth subscription.

2. Scope

  • An expansion of the current Growth subscription, added to the existing contract rather than replacing it.
  • The same Snowflake-hosted brain, the same connectors already live and the same Growth service levels.
  • The specific additional capacity is to be confirmed with your contract management team before the order form is prepared (see open points).

3. Pricing

All prices are shown excluding VAT.

The expansion is co-termed to your renewal on 5 Jan 2026, so the deal value above is not an annual figure. The annual price of £9,000 is what the expansion will cost per year once it is part of the renewed subscription. Any discount would apply to the first term only.

4. Term and billing

  • Co-termed to the current term, which ends 5 Jan 2026.
  • Invoiced under the existing order form and master agreement, on the same payment terms.
  • No change to the contracted subscription of £42k a year for the current Growth licence.

5. Open points

  • Confirm with the customer exactly which additional lines are wanted, so the order form states them precisely.
  • Confirm whether the expansion should also be reflected in the renewal conversation with Marcus Bell, who looks after adoption on the account.
  • Confirm who at Kingdon Diagnostics will sign the order form.

6. Next steps

  1. Lewis Kerr to review the open points with your contract management team.
  2. Lewis Kerr to issue a final proposal and order form once the scope is agreed.
  3. Marcus Bell to include the additional capacity in the next usage review.

Kind regards, Lewis
