What it says
What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Draft renewal proposal dated 29 Jan 2025 for the Growth plan with 40 licensed users at an unchanged £44k annual price, billed annually in advance on 30-day terms. Not agreed with Lornefield. It notes softened active use of around ten people.
What it is: a BB-Demo draft renewal proposal by Nell Ashcombe, marked "Not yet agreed with Lornefield". It covers the term ending 2 Apr 2025 and proposes a further year.
Commits: nothing binding. It proposes Growth, 40 licensed users, "The annual price stays at £44k" and annual billing in advance on standard 30-day terms.
Unusual: it states plainly that active use has softened, with around ten people active on average over the last thirty days, and builds the proposal around value rather than price.
Not settled: who at Lornefield takes the renewal decision, whether to keep all 40 users, and any change in teams or systems. The text itself says the executed order form will set the contracted price and terms, and the evidence does not show whether one was signed.

Body
Lornefield Pensions Administration - Renewal Proposal v1
Draft. Prepared by Nell Ashcombe, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder, BB-Demo. Date: 29 Jan 2025. Not yet agreed with Lornefield.
1. Context
Lornefield Pensions Administration has been a BB-Demo customer since 3 Apr 2023 and was a Year 1 design partner. The brain gives scheme-relationship managers one view of trustee calls, member-query tickets and fee invoices. The current term ends on 2 Apr 2025, and this proposal sets out how we suggest continuing from there.
2. How the account looks today
- Plan: Growth, with 40 licensed users.
- Contracted annual recurring revenue: £44k.
- No support tickets in the last thirty days, none of them high priority.
- No overdue invoices.
- Active use has softened. Around ten people were active on average over the last thirty days, which is a noticeable fall on the previous quarter. We would rather say that plainly and plan around it than leave it unmentioned.
3. What we propose

| Item | Proposal |
|---|---|
| Deal type | Renewal |
| Tier | Growth |
| Licensed users | 40 |
| Annual price | £44k |
| Term | A further year, starting the day after the current term ends on 2 Apr 2025 |
| Billing | Annual, in advance, on standard 30-day terms |
The annual price stays at £44k. The plan keeps the Growth features Lornefield already uses, including the dashboards builder and quarterly business reviews.
4. Making the next year count
The price is unchanged, so the question that matters is value. We suggest:
- A working session with the scheme-relationship managers to agree the handful of questions they will ask the brain each week.
- A look at which of the 40 licensed users are not yet active, and whether the allowance is right for the team as it is today.
- A review of the connected sources to make sure trustee calls, member-query tickets and fee invoices are all still loading as expected.
5. Open points
- Whether Lornefield wants to keep the full 40 licensed users or discuss a different shape for the plan.
- Who at Lornefield will take the renewal decision and who should receive this proposal.
- Any change in the teams or systems Lornefield expects over the coming year that we should plan for.
