What it says
What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Proposal of 12 Mar 2024 from Nell Ashcombe to move Lornefield from Starter at £20k a year to Growth at £44k a year, billed annually in advance, 30-day payment terms, no discount. It is a proposal, not an order form.
What it is: a version 1 proposal, stored as final, for an expansion from Starter to Growth at the renewal point. Nell sets it out for the term beginning after the current term ends on 2 Apr 2024.
Commits: nothing binding. The price table lists "Company Brain, Growth subscription" at £44k, annual, billed in advance. "Payment terms are 30 days from invoice. No discount is applied in this proposal."
Unusual: no non-standard terms. Service levels are described only as "stronger than Starter on P1 first response", with no figures.
Not settled: whether the customer accepted. The text says "The detail will sit in the order form", so only an executed order form decides contracted price and terms. The proposal also gives no user or connector numbers, no go-live dates and no implementation fee.

Body
Lornefield Pensions Administration - Proposal
Prepared by: Nell Ashcombe, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder, BB-Demo Date: 12 Mar 2024 Status: Final, version 1 Proposal type: Expansion from Starter to Growth
1. Context
Lornefield Pensions Administration has been a BB-Demo customer since 3 Apr 2023 and was one of our Year 1 design partners. You bought the brain to give your scheme-relationship managers one view of trustee calls, member-query tickets and fee invoices. As a third-party administrator for occupational pension schemes regulated by The Pensions Regulator, you need that view to be dependable and easy to evidence.
You are on the Starter tier at £20k a year, and the current term ends on 2 Apr 2024. This proposal sets out what moving to Growth would look like at that renewal point.
2. What we have seen
- Usage has grown quarter on quarter. More of your team are asking the brain questions each week.
- Support has been quiet: one ticket in the last month, none of it high priority.
- Invoices have been paid on time, with nothing overdue.

Our read is that the brain has become part of how your relationship managers prepare, and that Starter is now the limit on how far it can go.
3. Why Growth
Starter is built for one team. Your use has spread across several, and Growth is the tier designed for that.
| Area | Starter (today) | Growth (proposed) |
|---|---|---|
| Teams | One team | Several teams |
| Users | The Starter user allowance | The Growth user allowance |
| Connectors | The Starter connector limit | The Growth connector limit |
| Pages, chat and search | Included | Included |
| Dashboards builder | Not included | Included |
| Quarterly business reviews | Six-monthly check-in | Quarterly QBRs with your CSM |
The Growth service levels are also stronger than Starter on P1 first response. The detail will sit in the order form.
4. Pricing
| Item | Detail | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Company Brain, Growth subscription | Annual, billed in advance | £44k |
| Deal amount | Total proposed value | £44k |
Payment terms are 30 days from invoice. No discount is applied in this proposal.
5. What stays the same
The brain continues to run inside your own Snowflake account, with your existing connected systems carried over. Nothing is migrated or rebuilt for the move between tiers.
6. Next steps
- You review this proposal with your colleagues and tell us what you would change.
- Nell Ashcombe and Daniel Okafor, your CSM, walk through the Growth scope with the team that will use the dashboards builder.
- We issue an order form under the existing MSA for the Growth term to begin after the current term ends on 2 Apr 2024.
- Daniel plans the first quarterly review with you once the new term is running.
If anything here does not match how your teams actually work, tell us. We would rather change the proposal than have you sign something that does not fit.
Best, Nell
