What it says
What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26A BB-Demo quarterly business review deck for the Starter plan, dated 4 Feb 2024, ahead of the term ending 2 Apr 2024. It states contracted annual recurring revenue of £20k and 15 licensed users, with about four active. It flags concentrated use and no measured value.
What it is: a customer success QBR prepared by Daniel Okafor, with Nell Ashcombe named as account owner. It reviews the first year and looks ahead to the renewal.
Commits: it sets out internal actions, not contract terms. It states "Current term ends 2 Apr 2024" and the plan is Starter with 15 licensed users. Service levels are described only as delivered "to the Starter service levels".
Risks: active use is about four users against 15 licensed, and the deck says "We have not yet put a measured number on time saved." It also notes a slight fall on the prior quarter.
Not settled: the deck is not an order form, so the £20k is its own statement, not executed paper. It does not show the renewal outcome, the price at renewal or any customer reply, and it is dated well before the as-of date.

Lornefield Pensions Administration - QBR
Prepared by: Daniel Okafor, Customer Success Manager, BB-Demo Account owner: Nell Ashcombe Review date: 4 Feb 2024 Plan: Starter
1. Where we are
Thanks to everyone at Lornefield for the time you have given this account since go-live. This review covers the first year of the brain and looks ahead to the renewal.
- Customer since 3 Apr 2023, as a first-year design partner
- Current term ends 2 Apr 2024
- Contracted annual recurring revenue: £20k
- Licensed users: 15
- Purpose: one view of trustee calls, member-query tickets and fee invoices for the scheme-relationship managers
2. Usage
| Measure | Reading | Our view |
|---|---|---|
| Active users, 30-day average | About four | Well inside the 15 licensed users |
| Change on the prior quarter | A slight fall | Worth a conversation, not a worry yet |
| Licensed users | 15 | Plenty of headroom |
The habit is clearly there, but it sits with a small group. A handful of relationship managers use the brain most days, and I would like to understand whether the wider team knows what it can do for them.
3. Value
Read the whole document (2,838 characters)
- Trustee call history, member-query tickets and fee invoices now sit in one place, so a relationship manager can prepare for a scheme conversation without opening three systems.
- The design-partner feedback from the first year shaped how pages and search work for administrators. Thank you for that.
- We have not yet put a measured number on time saved. That is the gap I would most like to close before the renewal.
4. Support and service
- No tickets raised in the last thirty days, and none marked high priority.
- No overdue invoices on the account.
- Nightly refresh and availability have been delivered to the Starter service levels.
Quiet is good here, but I am checking that quiet means settled rather than disengaged.
5. Risks and questions
- Active use is concentrated in a few people, so the value depends on them staying close to the brain.
- The small fall in active users should be understood before the renewal conversation.
- We do not yet have a simple statement of value in Lornefield's own words.
6. Plan to the renewal
| Action | Owner | When |
|---|---|---|
| Short session with the wider relationship-manager group on what to ask the brain | Daniel Okafor | Before the renewal notice window closes |
| Capture two or three concrete examples of preparation time saved | Daniel Okafor with Lornefield | Ahead of the renewal discussion |
| Executive conversation on the next stage of the relationship | Nell Ashcombe | Before the term ends on 2 Apr 2024 |
Just to close the loop: I will come back to you with dates for the session once I have heard which days suit the team. How is the team finding it? I would value your honest view before we meet.
