A final quarterly business review deck from Daniel Okafor for a Starter customer. It records usage almost doubling, two routine tickets, no overdue invoices, and a term ending 2 Apr 2024 at £20k. It is a review, not a contract.

What it is: a customer-facing QBR dated 3 Aug 2023, prepared by Daniel Okafor, Customer Success Manager. It states "Contracted annual recurring revenue" of £20k for 15 licensed users and a term ending 2 Apr 2024.

What it says: daily active users "have almost doubled compared with the previous quarter", yet remain a minority of the 15 seats. Support shows two tickets, none high priority, and no overdue invoices.

Not settled: the deck commits BG-Demo to no service levels or prices. The next step on wider team training says only "I'll come back to you with options after this review", with no date.

Currency: the document is from 2023 and its figures are not evidence of the current position. The renewal it anticipates has long passed, and the deck does not show what happened at it. It also does not name a customer contact.

Lornefield Pensions Administration - QBR

Quarterly business review, Starter tier Prepared by Daniel Okafor, Customer Success Manager, BG-Demo Review date: Thursday 3 August 2023 Status: Final

1. Welcome and purpose

Thank you all for your time today. Lornefield has been with us since the very beginning as a first-year design partner, and this review is a chance to look back at the months since go-live and agree what comes next. How is the team finding it? That is the question I would most like to answer together.

2. Contract at a glance

The brain brings trustee calls, member-query tickets and fee invoices into one view for the scheme-relationship managers.

3. Usage and adoption

Read the whole document (3,245 characters)
  • Average daily active users have almost doubled compared with the previous quarter. That is a real step up and it is down to the team's own effort.
  • Active users are still a minority of the 15 licensed seats, which means there is comfortable headroom in the Starter allowance before any conversation about more users is needed.
  • Use is concentrated among the scheme-relationship managers, which is exactly who the brain was bought for.

What this tells us: adoption is moving in the right direction and is still early. The most useful thing now is to widen use inside the team, not to change the plan.

4. Value so far

  1. Scheme-relationship managers no longer need to piece together a trustee conversation from separate systems before a meeting.
  2. Member-query tickets and fee invoices sit alongside the call history, so a manager can answer a question about a scheme in one place.
  3. As a design partner, Lornefield's feedback has already shaped how pages and search work for later customers. Thank you for that.

5. Support

High priority ticketsNone
Overdue invoicesNone

Both tickets were routine and were handled within the Starter service level. Nothing is outstanding and the account is fully up to date on invoices.

7. Looking ahead to renewal

The current term runs to 2 Apr 2024, so there is time. My plan is simply to keep the usage picture and the examples of value up to date, so that when we sit down to talk about the next term it is a conversation about what has worked and what the team would like more of.

Just to close the loop: I will send a short written summary of today's points after the review.

Best wishes, Daniel
