What it says
What this says
Current to 13 Oct 26Draft proposal from Tom Ashdown dated 9 Oct 2024 to move Brackwell Freight Ltd from Starter to Growth at £44k, annual, invoiced in advance. Not yet reviewed with the customer; prices and terms are confirmed only by an executed order form.
What it is: a draft expansion proposal under the existing MSA. It states the customer has been on Starter since 1 Dec 2023 at £20k with 15 licensed users, and the term ends on 30 Nov 2024.
Commits: nothing binding. The text says "This draft is for discussion. Prices and terms are confirmed only by an executed order form." The Growth subscription is shown at £44k, annual, invoiced in advance, with quarterly invoicing on request.
Unusual: the proposal suggests aligning the move to Growth with the term end on 30 Nov 2024. Implementation work is deliberately left unpriced until scope is agreed.
Not settled: teams and depots in scope, an earlier start, extra connectors and invoicing frequency. The text does not show whether Brackwell accepted, or whether an order form followed. As of today this is a 2024 draft and should be treated as an open item, not current terms.

Body
Brackwell Freight Ltd - Proposal v1
Status: Draft. Prepared by Tom Ashdown, Account Executive, BB-Demo. Version 1, dated Wednesday 9 October 2024. Not yet reviewed with Brackwell Freight Ltd, and open points are listed at the end.
1. Context
Brackwell Freight Ltd has been a BB-Demo customer since 1 Dec 2023, on the Starter tier at a contracted annual recurring revenue of £20k, with 15 licensed users. The current term ends on 30 Nov 2024.
Brackwell runs road freight and contract warehousing for retailers from Trafford Park and five other depots. The brain was bought so that revenue operations and the depot account managers could see accounts, delivery-exception tickets and calls together, and spot at-risk retail contracts early.
Since go-live the picture has been a good one:
- Active use has grown clearly compared with the previous quarter.
- Support demand is light: one ticket in the last thirty days, and it was a high-priority one that was handled.
- There are no overdue invoices.
The Starter tier is built for one team. Brackwell is now using the brain across more than one team, and this proposal sets out what moving to Growth would look like.

2. What we heard
The points below come from our conversations with the Brackwell team over the past year, in general terms:
- The brain has become part of how revenue operations reviews retail accounts.
- Depot account managers want the same view without asking revenue operations to pull it for them.
- Leadership would like to see the picture on dashboards, rather than in individual chats and pages.
3. Proposed scope
We propose moving Brackwell Freight Ltd from Starter to Growth as an expansion of the existing subscription.
| Area | Today (Starter) | Proposed (Growth) |
|---|---|---|
| Teams | One team | Several teams |
| Users | 15 licensed users | The Growth user allowance |
| Connectors | The Starter connector limit | The Growth connector limit |
| Pages, chat and search | Included | Included |
| Dashboards builder | Not included | Included |
| Reviews | Six-monthly check-in | Quarterly QBRs with your CSM, Marcus Bell |
| Availability | Starter service level | Growth service level |
| P1 first response | Starter service level | Faster Growth service level |
The nightly refresh is complete by 07:00 customer local time on business days, on every tier, so that does not change.
4. Pricing
| Item | Detail | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Growth subscription | Annual, invoiced in advance | £44k |
| Current Starter subscription | Contracted annual recurring revenue | £20k |
The deal amount for this expansion is £44k. Payment terms follow the existing agreement. Quarterly invoicing is available on request.
Any implementation work needed to bring additional teams and connectors live will be confirmed in writing before an order form is issued. We have deliberately not put a figure on it here until the scope is agreed.
5. How it would work
| Phase | What happens | Owner |
|---|---|---|
| Agree scope | Confirm which teams and depots come in, and which sources need connecting | Tom Ashdown with Brackwell revenue operations |
| Order form | Issue the order form under the existing MSA | Tom Ashdown |
| Onboard new teams | Connect sources, set up the dashboards builder, train depot account managers | Marcus Bell |
| First QBR | Review usage and value against the goals above | Marcus Bell |
6. Timing
We suggest aligning the move to Growth with the end of the current term on 30 Nov 2024, so Brackwell has one renewal conversation rather than two. If the team would rather start earlier to get the depots on sooner, we can look at that.
7. Next steps
- Tom Ashdown to walk Brackwell revenue operations through this draft and take their comments.
- Agree the list of teams and sources in scope.
- Confirm the start date and the implementation approach.
- Issue the order form for signature.
8. Open points
- Which teams and depots are in scope for the first phase.
- Whether the expansion should start before the current term ends.
- Any additional connectors beyond the ones already live.
- Whether Brackwell wants quarterly rather than annual invoicing.
This draft is for discussion. Prices and terms are confirmed only by an executed order form.
Cheers, Tom
