What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026On the 4 Oct 2024 check-in, Anita Mistry said use has spread beyond Rakesh and the product is easier than expected. She is considering Growth only if adoption hits the Starter ceiling.
What happened: Marcus Bell reviewed the last quarter's usage with Anita Mistry. Questions to the brain moved from light in July to regular, from several contract managers, and Rakesh has built a page.
Customer view: Anita said the sceptical contract managers came round once answers about their sites were quick. She reported no refresh problems and no tickets.
Commercial: Marcus raised Growth at £44k against £20k for Starter. Anita said Starter does what they need and they might hit the ceiling if adoption keeps going.
Watch: one team member's ticket-status question returned an unexpected result and was never reported. That looks like an unmapped status value Marcus offered to fix.

- Marcus BellHi Anita. How are you doing? I've pulled the numbers for Wellbrook over the last quarter, I think there's some good news here. Shall I walk through what I'm seeing?
- Anita MistryYeah, go on.
- Marcus BellRight. So in terms of usage, people asking questions of the brain, you've gone from fairly light activity in July to quite regular questions now. And it's not just Rakesh using it. You've got a few people regularly asking questions. That tells me it's spreading through your team and they're getting value.
- Anita MistryYeah, a couple of the contract managers have started playing with it. They were skeptical at first but once they saw how quick it was to get answers about their sites, they got into it.
- Marcus BellThat's exactly how it should work. Are they asking the kinds of questions you thought they'd ask?
- Anita MistryMostly, yeah. Tickets by site, which sites have overdue invoices, that sort of thing. One person keeps asking about audit trends, which sites are failing audits regularly. That's useful.
- Marcus BellLovely. And on the page side, any of the team built their own pages?
- Anita MistryRakesh built one. Sarah, one of the Manchester leads, has been asking me to build her a page for her site, so I'll do that.
- Marcus BellGood. So the team's moving from using what Callie set up to building their own views. That's adoption. One thing I want to check, are you seeing data refreshes every night?
- Anita MistryYeah, it seems to be. We haven't had any issues.
- Marcus BellGreat. Any tickets with us? Any things that didn't work?
- Anita MistryNot really. One of the team members asked a question that didn't return what they expected, something about a specific ticket status, but they worked around it.
- Marcus BellDid they reach out about that? Because if there's a mapping issue, a status value the brain doesn't recognize, I can fix it.
- Anita MistryAh, no, they didn't. They just assumed they'd worded it wrong.
- Marcus BellTell them to just ping me, even a quick note, no formality. There's usually a fix in ten minutes. We want to make sure the brain's working for them.
- Anita MistryI'll pass that on. To be honest, this is going so much better than I expected. I thought it would be more technical.
- Marcus BellThat's what makes it work, it doesn't feel like technology. You ask a question, you get an answer. Happy to say that's what we're seeing here. So where I wanted to land: you're on Starter at the moment, 15 users, 4 connectors, search, pages and chat. Over the next few months, if your team grows or if you want to add more data sources: finance team data, HR, something else, we can talk about upgrading to Growth. Growth gives you more users, more connectors, and you get quarterly check-ins with us instead of six-monthly.
- Anita MistryWhat's the difference in cost?
- Marcus BellGrowth is £44,000 a year instead of £19,500. That's roughly double, but you get double the seats and double the connectors, so the value scales with it.
- Anita MistryLet me think about that. Right now Starter's doing what we need, but yeah, if the adoption keeps going, we might hit the ceiling.
- Marcus BellNo rush. We're only five months in. The renewal conversation starts in December, so we'll have time to talk through it then if you want to explore upgrading. For now, sounds like Starter's the right fit and we're seeing good traction.
- Anita MistryYeah, I'm happy with where we are. Thanks Marcus.
- Marcus BellCheers. So my ask: get that person who had the ticket question to reach out, and I'll sort them. In the meantime, keep an eye on whether you're hitting the user limit or the connector limit. If you want to add a data source, quick chat, just ping me. And we'll catch up again in six months, or sooner if something comes up. Sound good?
- Anita MistrySounds great.
- Marcus BellBrilliant. Thanks for your time, really pleased with how you're getting on. Speak soon.
