What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Discovery with Danielle Butler and Justin Simmons. Salesforce and time and billing data are not joined, and matter revenue takes a three-day analysis. Jordan Pike positioned Growth at sixty-two thousand pounds for year one and a demo is next.
What happened: Danielle and Justin described Salesforce and a separate time and billing system with data copied between them. They already have Snowflake, used only as a repository.
Customer view: Justin said they are leaving money on the table because time is not tracked accurately across engagements. Matter revenue is a three-day analysis for their finance person.
Commercial: Jordan positioned Growth, with an eight week implementation and a first-year price of sixty-two thousand pounds. He said year one is a locked annual commitment.
Watch: Justin asked about being able to leave, so commitment is a concern. The name of the time system is not known, which matters for the connector.

Transcript
- Jordan PikeHey Danielle, Justin, thanks for making time this afternoon. So we've got about forty-three minutes, and I want to understand what you're trying to achieve, what's not working right now, and whether the brain is a fit for Brannigan Wolfe. Sound good?
- Danielle ButlerYeah, let's do it. So Justin asked me to explore this because we have a real problem: our lawyers are in Salesforce, the matters are in Salesforce, the time tracking is in a separate system, our financial reporting pulls from multiple places. It's a mess.
- Justin SimmonsAnd it affects billing. We're leaving money on the table because we're not tracking time accurately across engagements. I want to know: how much revenue is a matter actually generating? And right now, that's a three-day analysis for our finance person.
- Jordan PikeOkay, so you've got Salesforce for client and matter management, time tracking elsewhere, what's the time tracking system?
- Danielle ButlerIt's a, honestly, I'm not sure of the name off the top of my head, but it's a time and billing system. It's separate from Salesforce, so we're always copying data between the two. It's clunky.
- Jordan PikeGot it. And do you guys use Snowflake or any data warehouse?
- Danielle ButlerWe do, actually. We've got Snowflake set up, so our data is centralized. But we're not really using it for business intelligence, it's just a repository right now.
- Jordan PikePerfect. So here's what the brain does: it sits inside your Snowflake, we connect to Salesforce and your time and billing system, and then anyone: a partner, a practice manager, finance: can ask it a question like, 'Show me the top ten matters by revenue this month, and how many hours have we logged on each?' One query, one answer, no manual work.
- Justin SimmonsCan you do that?
- Jordan PikeYeah, Salesforce and the time system, we can connect to both. It sounds like you're in Growth territory, multiple teams, multiple people needing to ask questions. So you'd get up to forty users on the brain, eight connectors, Salesforce, time and billing, and others, and quarterly check-ins with us to make sure you're getting value.
- Danielle ButlerHow long to implement?
- Jordan PikeFor Growth, it's eight weeks. We'll work with you to hook up the connectors, make sure the data is clean, train your team, and by week eight you're live and answering questions.
- Justin SimmonsAnd what's the investment?
- Jordan PikeSo there's an implementation fee for the eight weeks, that's fixed, and then an annual subscription. All in, first year comes to sixty-two thousand pounds.
- Danielle ButlerThat includes training?
- Jordan PikeYep. We do a full training day: walk everyone through how to ask the brain questions, how to build dashboards if you want to, troubleshooting, the whole deal.
- Justin SimmonsAnd after the first year: is it locked in, or can we bail if it doesn't work?
- Jordan PikeSo year one is a commitment, it's an annual contract. After that, we do quarterly renewal conversations. If you're not seeing value, you can walk. But in year one, yeah, it's locked.
- Danielle ButlerWho would manage this on our end?
- Jordan PikeYou'd be the champion: you'd work with us during the implementation, and once it's live, you'd manage the day-to-day, user access, that kind of thing. I'd assign a CSM who'd check in quarterly and make sure everything is humming.
- Justin SimmonsOkay. And what's the next step?
- Jordan PikeSo the next step is we do a demo. We connect to your systems, with your permission, and show you the brain working on a sample of your Salesforce and time data. That way you can see it in action before we talk about actually going forward. Does that work?
- Danielle ButlerYeah, we'd want that. When can you do it?
- Jordan PikeI've got a few weeks of calendar open. Let me check with our solutions team and I'll send you some options, maybe late September, early October?
- Danielle ButlerThat works for us.
- Jordan PikeGreat. I'll send over a couple of date options and we'll lock it in. Thanks both. Cheers.
- Justin SimmonsThanks, Jordan.
