What this says
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026Corriemoor Foods' operations and COO leads accepted the proposal scope on 15 Jun 2023 and asked whether four weeks was firm. Nell Ashcombe called it a commitment and said an order form and MSA would follow that day.
What happened: Nell Ashcombe walked Sarah Hollis and Elliot Allott through the proposal on 15 Jun 2023. They asked about timeline, fees, support and training, then agreed to move forward.
Customer view: Elliot confirmed the scope looked right and pressed on whether four weeks was a hard deadline. Sarah accepted the support terms as fine for them.
Commercial: The scope matches the Starter tier in the brief: fifteen users, four connectors, a six-monthly check-in. The quoted first-year amount carries fifteen per cent off list for the first term, and Nell said standard price would apply from year two.
Watch: BG-Demo has committed to four weeks from kickoff to handoff. The discount ending at renewal should be repeated early so it does not surprise them later.

Next steps
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Nell Ashcombe to send the order form and master service agreement the same day.
- Corriemoor Foods to have its legal team review the paperwork and sign back before kickoff is scheduled.
Risks
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- The four-week delivery is stated as a commitment, so any slip on BG-Demo's side is a credibility problem from the start.
- The first-term discount ends at renewal, so the price step at year two needs to be explained early.
Opportunities
As at Fri 9 Oct 2026- Extra hands-on training sessions beyond the included first one were offered as a later paid option.
- Add-ons such as more users or connectors can be raised later under the contract.
Transcript
- Nell AshcombeHi Sarah, hi Elliot, thanks for the time. Did you get a chance to look at the proposal?
- Sarah HollisYes, I did. We walked through it yesterday.
- Nell AshcombeGreat. Any questions on it?
- Elliot AllottThe scope looks right. Fifteen users, the four connectors, all makes sense. I do have a question on the timeline. Four weeks, is that a hard deadline or a target?
- Nell AshcombeIt's a commitment. We schedule it, we deliver it. There might be things on your end, getting access to Salesforce set up, that kind of thing, but on our side it's four weeks from kickoff to handoff.
- Elliot AllottGood to know. And the fees, implementation is separate from the annual subscription?
- Nell AshcombeRight. The implementation is one-off. Then the subscription starts on day one and renews every year. What I've quoted is the first-year amount with a small discount for a new customer. Year two onwards the standard price would apply, though we'd review that with you at renewal.
- Sarah HollisHow small?
- Nell AshcombeFifteen per cent off the list price for the first term.
- Elliot AllottAnd the subscription includes support?
- Nell AshcombeIt does. You get our standard support: a check-in every six months with your team, help if something's not working, any questions about how to use it. If something breaks you've got a four-hour response time during business hours.
- Sarah HollisThat's fine for us. What about training?
- Nell AshcombeThat's part of implementation. We do a full training session with your team: walk them through search, how to ask questions, best practices. If you need more hands-on work down the line we can do extra sessions, but the first one is included.
- Elliot AllottOkay. Are we good to move forward?
- Sarah HollisI think so. What's the next step?
- Nell AshcombeI'll send you an order form and a master service agreement. You'll want your legal team to glance at those. Once you sign them back we'll get you scheduled for kickoff and we're away. Any other questions?
- Elliot AllottNo, I think that's clear. Thanks, Nell.
- Nell AshcombeBrilliant. I'll get those over to you today. Speak soon.
